I brought my 9 1/2 year old Boxer to this vet with enlarged lymph nodes. She told me that she was 95% sure he had lymphoma. She said that I should bring him to an Oncologist and spend 5 grand to have him treated. I told her that I was out of work and could not afford it. She said I should at least spend $500 for her to do a biopsy to confirm the diagnosis. I reluctantly agreed. She performed the biopsy and sent it to out to a lab be tested. Results came back positive. However, the antibiotics she gave my dog for performing the biopsy apparently "magically" cured his supposed Lymphoma. Several months later my boxer is still doing great. Something is not right about this place. I will never bring another of my dogs back to this vet.

This is a follow up to my comments below. I took my cat to a second vet who did a second ultrasound, they found no blockage or mass as Clover Hill claimed. Second vet also told me "this operation they proposed is not without risk, I'd wouldn't do it". I then requested Clover Hill send me the ultrasound photos they took showing me the mass and blockage in my cat's intestinal tract which they refused to do claiming, "we keep those records on file here and do not send out copies or originals". My cat seems to have recovered from his mysterious malody and gained some of the weight lost. His blockage has apparently vanished. A risky $2300 operation was not done. Avoid this vet.

I can't possibly say enough nice thing about Clover Hill. The veterinarians and techs are all unbelievably friendly, caring, and attentive. I once got a phone call at home on a saturday afternoon, from the vet herself, just to check and see how my sick dog was doing. There are 2 vets, Ann Ascher and Christy Artuso. Both are fabulous. If they treated humans I'd be a patient myself!!
