I would not recommend McClellan Veterinary Clinic based on my experience. My 6-year-old dog has never nipped anyone and has always done well at the vet, but the staff appeared extremely afraid of him. One staff member entered with a muzzle, panicked when he approached, hit the door, and ran out, leaving the door wide open. During his first shot, my dog yelped and moved, and the doctor jumped back, leaving the needle hanging in my dog's rear. I had to remove it myself. After we got home, my dog suddenly couldn't use his back legs. I called and was told this was "normal." Thankfully, he walked again after about 4 hours, but was in pain for days. I was also told by the doctor, front desk, and vet tech that I could call in medication for his recurring ear infections. When I needed it, I spent 4 days calling, only to be told I had to bring him back. This was stressful and unacceptable. I will not be returning.
