Because I gave a negative review about a Vet, they set out a vendetta against me through my fur baby. They failed to diagnose her pancreatitis, they had a year to figure it out and had they reviewed her file for each visit that year who knows she might be here today. But they couldn’t figure it out and sarcastically asking me what i think might be wrong with her. Her last visit they sent her home, I drove to HOPE, who diagnosed her in 5 mins. But it was too late she passed the next day. So ,I know what you did and i wanted you to know that I know you purposely did not examine my Baby just to get back at me. I WILL NOT FORGET!!!

Vets are expensive but this one is right there with the others in the area. They staff is nice, most the vet techs are wonderful and some of the doctors are amazingly friendly and thorough. Better wait times than people doctors.

Been going there for almost 10 years - maybe not much longer. Their prices have been going up quite a bit lately. Vets are Ok - techs not so much.

The staff and vets are very caring. Office manager needs sensitivity training. I find them to be expensive and looking for a new vet after over 5 years there. Vet tech turnover is extremely high which is making me wonder.

I took my pet there as she was experienced very labored breathing. The VERY LOUD vet tech voiced her speculations (inaccurately). The doctor was rather negative and insensitive too, stating worst case scenarios without complete exam, even stating that some pets die on the x-ray table. X-rays were required but their machine was broken, which was discovered with my dying cat stuck in the room, without us. They never put her in oxygen, they didn't IMMEDIATELY examine her, waited way too long for a broken x-ray machine, etc.
There was no sense of urgency, or compassion shown. Beware.

I have been taking my dogs to this office for a number of years. The staff is wonderful with my dogs. I recently boarded my dogs there and my geriatric dog did so well. They gave the dogs their medicine at no charge and closely monitored their eating. They love what they do and it shows in the way they care for my dogs. My dogs have had surgeries and just regular care. I have recommended them to many friends and will continue to do so.

This animal hospital refused to give me meds for my dog for a recurring ear infection because she is due for her rabies shot. They WONT give her a rabies shot because she is sick! Now I have to pay to go to ANOTHER vet to try and get the medication my dog needs when they are ALREADY aware of her issue! This is the front office. I truly wonder what the actual VET would say

We took our 6 month old pit bull puppy there when another local vet did not really want to help treat his emergency. They kindly fit us in that same day within the hour, the staff was so amazing and dr harclerode was wonderful. He was treated and was on the road to recovery that day. We will def be reccomending him to our friends and family and taking him there for years to come

Dr Marchetti has been treating our beagle for a back injury. The staff at this hospital is kind and considerate and always have a smile. Dr. Marchetti is the most compassionate vet we have ever had, and cares for your pet as if it was his own.

I have been going to Coventry Animal Hospital with my pets for over 6 years now and have always been pleased with their professionalism, courtesy, compassion and knowledge. The vets are top notch, the techs are excellent and the reception staff friendly and caring. Whether answering routine questions, researching unusual situations or providing compassionate care, Coventry Animal Hospital receives top marks from me.

I have taken my dog to coventry animal hospital since he was a pup (2005). I was always satisfied with the care provided until now. I was accused of REFUSING to have my dog get a wellness check in order to fill a prescription for preventative heartworm medication. The "lady" who called me in reference to getting the script for my dog lied in her notes left on their computer system saying that I REFUSED a wellness exam. This person never once mentioned anything about a wellness exam. I personally think she was pissed off that I didn't want to pay their high prices for medication. As a business owner myself, I would not have someone like her on my staff. Good riddance.

It saddens me to read such comments about a great veterinary hospital. Remember to take what you read online with a grain of salt. Coventry animal hospital is a great place and the doctors are all great including Dr. Gardner. We found her to be great with our pets, knowledgeable, and compassionate.

Dr Garner killed my six month old puppy when she induced her anesthesia as she was undergoing spaying. Her words when she called my 24 year old son and later, me, to say our dog was dead were, "I have a little bit of bad news for you..." She went on to try to blame me, saying, "Well, you did bring her in for ELECTIVE surgery." To which I naturally responded that responsible pet owners do not consider spaying a healthy six month old female "elective", rather, it is MANDATORY. I was offered no compensation for an autopsy or towards another puppy. We have been shattered by this experience and the lack of compassion Dr Garner showed. Do yourself a favor and find someone else to take care of your pets!

In contrast, we love Dr. Gardner. We have been taking our pets to Dr. Gardner for over 5 years and couldn't ask for a more loyal, concerned, and compassionate veterinarian.

We have been taking our 2 standard poodles here for the last 2yrs. I just lost 1 of them due to misdiagnosis after flu shot for the dog. For 5 months Dr. Gardner misdiagnosed my dog who had been coughing and sneezing. She never took Xrays which would have shown he had walking pneumonia.Over the course of 5 months and at last 6 visits and several phone calls my 9 year old poodle Jackson is now dead. Metropolitan hospital diagnosed him with in 5 minutes and 1 xray but it was too late to save him. I will never use them again and I would urge others to go else where.
