Dr. Chaikin is very professional and has always taken care of my two cats. My experience is that he is indeed very caring and actually advised me not to get some unneeded treatments I was inquiring about. Please decide for yourself and you will see that he and his staff are top notch.

A friend of mine took her very sick Cavalier there. They kept him a whole day without doing anything for him. He was almost dead when she picked him up and the vet complained when he had bloody water coming out and complained when the staff gave her a towel to clean up. She had to take him to an emergency clinic that immediately had to do emergency surgery to save his life. This vet was heartless and did nothing to help this poor little dog.

Dr Barry Chaikin should lose his license to practice. My close friend took her very sick and very expensive dog there. He was vomiting and bleeding rectally. Dr Chaikin drew labs and had no answer. My friend went to pic him up after work. he was nasty n wouldn't keep him overnight. Then Kingston got blood all over the hallway as she was checking out. he was bleeding internally. She asked the staff for a towel. The vet said no and got pissed that the blood was all over his hallway. The staff got her one, and he was disrespectful and told her she could only have it to clean up the mess if she promised to bring the towel back! Kingston was taken to another hospital in the area. They at least did scans and found a blockage in his intestines from kleenex and towel paper the pup had eaten. He lost part of his bowel, and he suffered from low blood pressure from the hemorrhaging and the emergency surgery. If this vet can't be bothered to test a DYING dog, yet worry about linen, stay away!!!

Good doctor, friendly staff. Dr. Chaikin doesn't waste your time or money. He gets to the point, and he does what your pet needs to get better, unlike some vets that recommend to do all kind of crazy testing.

Dr. Barry Chaikin is the best vet I have encountered yet! Everyone is so friendly at his office. Dr. Chaikin and his staff treat you like one of the family. He always takes time to explain things and answer any questions. He shows that he really does care! Customer for life!
