I took my Staffordshire terrior to atacadero pet hospital like always but they gave me some french guy doc, for a fatty tissue aspiration the guy decided to not aspirate, not to do lab work but to try meds?? I have clients who are vets too far away to take him to, they said he should have aspirated it took a culture and had a lab work done. months later when meds did nothing, I gave them a second chance, set up another appointment at 11:30 am, I asked for a woman doc as they love him and are not afraid of him like the male doc. I showed up at 11am they checked computer someone moved me to 3:30 pm?!? another waste of my time. the little girl at the counter said she had moved my appointment?!? kept repeating herself in vague scenarios and saying "we won't charge you for walk in fees I didn't walk in! she knew my appointment was at 11:30 am!! The women doctors have always been very good to me and my dog. really too bad they have decided to hire such unqualified unpardonable help.

Every time I take any of my cats to this facility they come home with an upper respiratory infection. When I call back to the office to tell them, I can tell they really don't care. Also, they used to be the most inexpensive for spaying and neutering, but now they charge the most in the north country. 95.00 for a male cat neuter, verses 55.00 at other facilities. And they require complete vaccinations before the surgery. Their vaccinations are 21.00 verses 11.00 at other facilities. They are installing an MRI and CT scanner, is this why prices have doubled?

Great facility! They have 8 doctors on staff to choose from and one is always there for emergencies 24/7! They do medical pet boarding and regular appointments as well and have great availability as far as hours go and quick appointment scheduling. The staff really care about the animals and the cost is great considering veterinary medicine today as well as the body of knowledge that is there!

My Cat Indie was not looking well, took her in immediately on Sunday, staff was very friendly, caring, and always kept me up to date twice a day with what was going on with her. The main vet that worked w/her, Dr. Stanman was so caring & willing to do what he needed to save her life. The prognosis was not good but he still was willing to do whatever it took but at the same time to be realistic and sensitive to my feelings & the situation. Right now my cat is ok and we are going to see Dr. Stanman tomorrow. I strongly recommend this center as they are always there and very friendly & willing to work w/ you.

There is a vet on site 24/7. They have the lowest fees in the area for excellent care. I have used them for everything from shots to major surgery and been very satisfied.
