I would not recommend going to this clinic. Dr. Lackey only hires high school kids so she doesn't have to pay them much. She is almost always late for her appointments. She runs her clinic like the military but doesn't follow her own guide lines. She has the highest turn around of employees of anyone in business it seems like. 11people in less than 9 months. 4fired and 7 quit because she is horrible to work for. And when clients get used to one person and calls to speak to them she will drag their names through the mud about how and why they don't work with her anymore.

I first met Dr.Lackey on a Saturday 15 yrs ago when she saw our dying cat (not her patient) on an emergency basis- Since then she has repeatedly gone above and beyond to provide care for our numerous difficult rescued dogs & cats- even home visits for critical events. She is highly competent & compassionate-& respectful of my holistic ideas. Appts are never rushed. Vet services are pricey everywhere- I feel comfortable to decline certain tests and treatments. Our community is fortunate to have her!

Dr. Lackey is a competent vet, however her staff are to busy horsing around to provide a professional enviorment. They are all young and it shows! She has multiple scientology displays in her waiting room, this may explain her inability to rationally consider that notifying your patients you are not willing to auth online Rx's until the online pharmacy request's the auth is good buisness. The detrement of course is to the animal that suffers while Dr. Lackey holds your Rx hostage. She of course wants to make a few dollars on you filling the Rx at her office. Honesty would be the best policy, she should advise her patients of this. She accused us of not supporting her practice; never mind that I used her to begin with and the hundreds of dollars I spent there. She could simply have a notice in her waiting room but I guess its more fun for her policy to be a secret and to allow an animal to suffer while she and her staff run the customer around in circles of misinformation. Pass on her!
