I went to this clinic and was told my cat probably had allergies that were causing the hair loss on one side of her neck. I bought expensive shampoo and left. A day later I took my kitty to a groomer to get a shampoo and she said did you realize your cat has a bad ear infection. I took her to a different vet and he said the hair loss was from her pawing at her painful ear on that one side. A round of antibiotics cleared it up -- no allergy. I'm surprised the Avenues Vet clearly didn't look at her ears and see the infection. I won't go back. Also, some staff were nice but others were simply disconnected from the animals and the humans at the clinic. I had an appointment but had to wait 40 minutes to get into the vet.

Dr. Gowrer was the surgeon for my dachshund with a back injury. She called me a minimum of 2 times a day to let me know how my dog was doing. She stayed on the phone with me for hours answering all questions and concerns I had about the surgery. She was extremely knowledgeable and caring. I would not hesitate to take any of my pets to her for any future treatment.
