Click to report rating    6/4/14   5     5     4     3   I HAD been taking my 3 'furry' family members to Bay Animal Hospital until Dr. Franke (owner/partner) kept trying to push services above and beyond what the appointment was for (he even followed me into the parking lot asking if I needed any Heartguard or Frontline). My puppy, Biscotti James, needed a vaccination booster. I do NOT allow my dogs to get the Lepto vaccine, too many bad side affects and my Mocha (middle child) was proof of that when she swelled up and yelped whenever she was touched. It was on all three of my dogs files that they were NOT to get this vaccine, but Dr. Franke was too busy trying to sell me other services to notice. He gave my baby Biscotti (about 6 mths old & 3.5#) Lepto without me realizing it. Three hours later I was rushing back to Bay Animal Hospital so Dr. Baylor could give Biscotti a shot to help alleviate the allergic reaction. My 'furry' family no longer goes to Bay Animal Hospital. RID: 51955
