They simply over charge. I was charged $400.00 for a 2nd follow up visit for my dog after surgery. The follow up visit prior was included in the overall cost.They never discussed this charge with us prior to the visit.

We had very good emergency service there. The staff and Dr. were very nice and knowledgeable. The only complaint I have is the extremely high cost there. In times of emergency those things tend not to matter as much, at least not to me. I was happy to pay to get her well. I'd go back again if it were needed.

Three of my yorkies have been taken care of here. In the one emergency, she was taken as we walked in the door. Staff is sensitive and caring. The fact that it is a little more than the average veterinary service is worth it to have 24x7 care and specialists in the area.

This place overcharges and the wait is usually about 4 hours even if your pet is in DIRE need of medical help. There should be more emergency facilities in Rochester for animals. It's pathetic. They misdiagnosed my dog and she ended up dying after receiving an unauthorized blood transfusion
