Landry is a bully, ego maniac, know it all, tuff guy... misdiagnosed my pet at the cost of $1,400. Landry's response "sorry, we have no idea what caused the elevated normal fever " 7.5 inch incision to my pet. When I asked logical questions he became super defensive and refused to answer any of my questions. DO NOT USE LANDRY! BEWARE! DANGER!

The psychology of reviews!
By Dr. Peter Murphy
I’ve been teaching psychology for forty years. I’ve conducted numerous studies and surveys on the benefits/results of writing business reviews. The ultimate results indicate that these reviews are worthless to everyone concerned.
The negative reviews are written by people who carry a great deal of guilt and self hatred within. Generally they are sociopaths who haven’t found acceptable ways of dealing with their own frustrations. Example: I found a review written by “Trail Goddess” I would say, “pompous” Peacock personality, chest extended, blowing smoke. How about “sickmonkey” She knows she is a sociopath. What guilt? Well, maybe they didn’t take care of their animals, so their pet died. Maybe they didn’t use a leash and the pet ran out into the street and was hit by a car. Many reasons and these people need someone to blame (NOT THEMSELVES) The ironic part is no one listens to them rant and rave.

horrid treatment of us and our animal. we will never return to this so-called "vet" facility, and will recommend that our friends stay far away. the "vet" was a bully, condescending, rude, and prescribed an incorrect treatment that very nearly cost us the life of our animal. beware of this facility!

Dr. Landry may have a ton of medical education as he so expressed in his errogent way of speaking down to his clients, but he clearly slept through the charm school class. His rates are above all the highest in Boulder County and don't believe that he is only stem cell treating doctor. Please shop around and do your research to read the comments. I rarely write reviews, and when I do I much prefer to write positive ones, but I could not let this one go and had to let others BEWARE!

how this place manages to keep doing business is anyone's guess. they quoted us $500-$600 for a simple neuter on a 60 pound dog. that's 4-5 times HIGHER than anyone else anywhere. we quickly switched to a better, more professional facility after getting this outlandish quote from this so-called "vet" clinic. the sooner this quack loses his license to practice, the safer the pet world will be.

I would like to respond to the person that insulted me as a pet owner for telling the truth about what happened during my visit with Rob Landry. He restrained my dog until he had a seizure, defecated, and lost consciousness, all to get an unuasable blood pressure reading. He went on well after he should have stopped and harmed my pet unnecessarily. I warned him that stress might casue him to seize, but he did not listen at all. I am an excellent pet owner, have consulted many specialists as needed all over the country where we have lived. He WAS condescending and fake-nice and then became extremely nasty when I called him on his behavior. You have your experiences with Landry, I had mine. Mine was awful and just as I have stated. This in no way makes me a bad person or bad pet owner. The reputable and good vets that I have consulted have treated my pets gently and kindly and have lauded my proactive and caring pet ownership. Money is not an issue-good care is worth the cost.

Best hospital in the area. When you have an opportunity to compare the care and quality medicine of this hospital to many others, you realize what a gift this hospital is to our community. Not many small towns get the privilege of having a top state of the art facility with such educated doctors and staff. My dogs and cats love the doctors at Mountain Ridge and I'm thrilled to have them in our community.

The prices were extremely fair and comparative to the other quality hospitals in this area. The staff is experienced, friendly, kind and helpful. They offer several payment options. The owner, Dr. Landry is an awesome human being. He loves his profession. It gives him great joy to heal your pets and save their lives. That is his primary goal. If you as an owner, are not doing things properly, he will tell you. He wants to educate his patients’ families regarding diet, exercise and health issues. He is not condescending – He is teaching new ideas as well as old. Ideas that will keep your pet healthy and happy and will also make you love and enjoy the company of your pet. My pets bring great pleasure to my life. When they are ill or hurt, I want to know that Dr. Landry will be here for them and for me.

A wonderful veterinarian, a fantastic and compassionate man. The staff is always kind and our quick to get back to you if you leave a message. When you bring your animal into them they are very caring and always intuitive to your pets needs. Its a blessing to have him in our community. Truly as I have went to a few places before finding Dr Landry I can say for one thing him and his staff our one of a kind. Its sad that people have posted nasty comments regarding him. I know first hand that him and his staff our nothing but caring individuals. Sadly people get upset when they are told a price that is higher than what they think is fair. Veterinarian medicine costs to run just like human hospitals cost. Keep up the great work DR LANDRY

Dr. Landry has been our family veterinarian for several years and we have come to appreciate his knowledge, dedication and professionalism. Venues such as these need to be taken with caution because the criticism made about him are void of the truth. He is truly someone who is so incredibly knowledgeable and dedicated to providing the best care for our family pets.

Couldn't disagree more about the complaints filed against Dr.Landry. He is one truly fine doctor and is honest, knowledgeable. His facility is state of the art, clean, professional. He has given my pets a longer time and less pain. He knows how to diagnose and he knows how to make a difference.

Great doctor. I've been taking my animals to Dr. Landry for 7 years. I followed him when he moved. He is kind and compassionate. But what's more important is that he knows how to diagnose illnesses quickly saving us a great deal of money and our pets useless tests. We have been adopting pets for thirty years and have gone to many veterinarians until we found Dr. Landry. He has a great staff. His facilities are clean and comfortable. Dr. Landry donates a great deal of time and money to several rescue groups. Many of the rescued animals would be euthanized if it weren't for Dr. Landry's compassion and kindness. He has saved many. He has created a "hospital fund" in order to have money availlable for pets of families who can't afford to pay their bills. He has worked with cancer patients and many are in remission. Since I work with rescue groups I get to see the worst, and Dr. Landry always makes the best of the worst and saves many of our pets. He is their savior, their vet

Vet Rob Landry failed to inform me that my cat had kidney disease. Ten months later, my cat died of kidney failure and possibly cancer. He tested her in Jan. and Nov., and both times explained to me that the tests revealed nothing. I found out what truly was wrong, only after having to put my cat to sleep and requesting all the tests run in the last year. I showed the test results to another vet. He pointed out the warning flags and what they meant. Rob Landry told me that the test results revealed nothing and further testing was necessary. I paid for further testing, but before the results were in, my cat died. When I confronted him with this information, he was rude, and said that the other vet had "lied" about the kidney disease and failure. When confronted about specific flags concerning cancer on the lab results, he said that he had seen those and suggested an ultrasound. But never once did he mention cancer to me. I'm sorry I entrusted my cat to this vet.

This guy (Dr. Landry) has a MAJOR attitude problem. While he starts off as very fake- kind, he quickly devolves into God-complex nasty at the slighest question/concern. I was appalled at his rough handling of my dog and he didn't seem a bit phased at his own (awful) behavior. I understand that now he is claiming to be a pain specialist. Appropriate since if yout pet sees him, there will be pain involved, on way or another.

I recently changed to TLC and was very impressed with Dr Landry ... the antiseptic clean hospital.... and the follow up phone call on the condition of my cat. Appears to have latest in equipment and I feel this is one of the best veterinary hospitals in the Lafayette/Louisville area. I am happy to have it close to home.
