Excellent care from a dedicated professional and animal lover. As to Dr. Stamey not liking "big dogs" -- what a bunch of malarkey. Perhaps your "big dogs" may have had behavioral or temperament issues. Tell that to my retired Police dogs (Malinois) and the German Shepherds she's treated for many years. They trust her without reservations.

Extraordinary service. This is a vet and her assistant who come to your home. She is always punctual. Great rapport with animals. I have recommended Dr. Stamey to many friends and coworkers and all say she is excellent. This is the consummate professional veterinarian service...hands down the BEST.

The absolute worst care available. As a pet owner I would never take my pets to her. By the way, I believe she has filed for bankruptcy as well. Caveat emptor.

It seems some people who have rated here, have Dr Stamey confused with someone else. She is afraid of NO animals and would never tell someone to go elsewhere.

The vet is afraid of large breed dogs. We went for one visit and immediately sought another vet.

After waiting for over an hour to have our cats and dogs seen it was obvious that if we were not personal friends of the staff and vet we, and our anmimals, were second class citizens. We counted 11 people who were on a first name basis with staff and taken without appointments (which we had) ahead of us. On comment we were told we could go elsewhere. At that time we were informed we would still be responsible for the basic bill if we left without care. I refused and went elsewhere as my animals will not be treated by someone who sees them as secondary to the process of veterinary care.

I have only had dealings with Dr. Robin Stamey when I went to her clinic to drop-off my deceased dog for cremation. It is a modern,clean facility. The staff seem unconcerned that I was standing at their desk holding my deceased pet in my arms. The receptionist continued to ignore me & to wait on the other people there while making no attempt to find a quiet room or corner for me to wait in. Dr Stamey was rude and cold to me and showed no empathy towards me for the tragic loss of my beloved pet. She snatched his body from my arms & threw the cremation paperwork at me. If she was that nasty to someone whose pet had passed away,I can only imagine how she would be to a living pet & owner. I have heard other people mention how expensive her services are for the area, but I do not know firsthand. never in a million years would I reccomend someone as devoid of sympathy as she was to anyone seeking care for their pet.
