9/13/11   1     1     1     1   Our dog was sick brought him in thinking he had Lyme. He had all the symptoms besides a fever an they said he didn't have it and didn't bother to test for it. Told us to get some pepcide to see if that would help his stomach an bring back his appetite. He started to pee his bed so we called them next day after his initial visit an had them test his blood for Lyme this time. They did and he had it. They proceeded to try an back up their mistake instead of admitting to it. We also had a mini dachshund that wasn't feeling well an spent the night at their clinic. I picked her up an she just wasnt herself she proceeded to to run into walls and seem not to hear us. She had a seizure an they were going to let her come home. They obviously weren't even paying attention to her. They're completely incompetent when it comes to treating animals. RID: 27572
Click to report rating    5/1/08   2     3     3     2   DR ANNA IS VERY NICE AND KNOWLEDGABLE, BUT THE MALE DR (FORGOT HIS NAME AS I WAS NEVER INTRODUCED AND HE IS DEFINATELY FORGETTABLE)- WHEN I ASKED HIM IF MY PUPPYS NAILS LOOKED LIKE THEY NEEDED TO BE TRIMMED, HE REPLIED "THEY LOOK LIKE NAILS TO ME" AND LOOKED AT ME AS IF I WERE STUPID. I WAS GOING TO ASK IF THEY WOULD TRIM THEM, BUT BROUGHT MY BUSINESS AND MY CASH ELSEWHERE. WHEN MY CAT WAS ATTACKED BY A COYOTE, THEY DID NOT CHECK THE WOUND WELL AND DID NOT EVEN CHECK IN HER EAR EVEN THOUGH SHE HAD A PUNCTURE WOUND - ENDED UP TAKING HER TO AN AWESOME VET THE NEXT DAY BECAUSE SHE WAS SHAKING HER HEAD AND BLOOD AND PUS WOULD FLY, AND SHE ENDED UP HAVING SURGERY. I WAS CHARGED FOR AN EMERG VISIT FROM THIS CLINIC AND THEY DID NOTHING OTHER THAN SHAVE MY CATS HEAD.... VERRRRY FRUSTRATING INDEED. BE CAREFUL. AS FOR DR ANNA, I THINK SHE WOULD DO BETTER ELSEWHERE. ANOTHER ISSUE IS THAT THEY DO NOT TAKE CARE CREDIT....GO FIGURE. RID: 8345
Click to report rating    5/30/07   1     3     3     3   Every time I bring any of my animals here, I am given the cold shoulder. There's no warmth or acknowledgement that they care for the animals. I would especially like to point out, I do not recommend Dr "Weasel" as he couldnt care less. This spring I took a 1 year old pup to the office, explained I thought he had allergies as well as yeast infections in his ears. He simply told me to wash out his ears by basically putting enough liquid in for it to come pouring from his head. This is the complete OPPOSITE of what you want to do with a yeast infection. When I questioned him what do we do about possible allergies, he just shrugged his shoulders and left the room. The only Dr I would recommend there is Dr. Anna K (for the life of me I cant spell or pronounce her last name) is she seems to care a little more about the animals. I am currently looking for a new facility due to the poor care of animals they have the pleasure to mess up. RID: 4281
Click to report rating    1/17/07   5     4     5     4   I really like the staff at Hollis Animal Clinic. They are friendly and very helpful. The vets that I have dealt with take the time to explain things and just chit-chat. They are willing to work with you when it comes to paying and I thought they were average in cost. We had to put our dog down and we received a sympathy card the day after. I was very touched. I would highly recommend them. RID: 2041
