I' am completely discusted with this practice! Unforgivable the way you get treated! There is a certain vet tech whom if I weren't better than her I'd rip that facial piercing out and punch her in the face. I know, that is not appropriate. Christ Angelos, is a pretenious d-bag.(yes, I know that isn't appropiate either) He's so quick to to dismiss any fault on his part and is quick to dismiss any problems even if those problems are starring him in the face. In this case it was my moms poor dogs eyes. She had to take him in a second time for someone to check him out and my mother needed to point them out in order for him to even address it. This was a problem the first time he saw the dog and offered no explaination. The whole staff lacks serious people skills. I don't know why she keeps going to this place. I took my dog in once and needless to say, they will not be seeing us again. I only wish there were more sites with reviews so I can get feedback on other local animal hospitals.

All of my friends and I go to the Mann Clinic. Dr. Angelos diagnosed my dog with Addisons Disease when 3 other clinics misdiagnosed her and he saved her life. He even called me over the weekend including Sunday to monitor her progress. I have never seen or heard of any of the issues stated below. I suspect a fired employee is responsible for the misinformation. The whole staff are very helpful and we never get the feeling money comes first. This clinic is rated GREAT in my opinion.

I've just started with Mann back in August of 2006. I use Dr. Angelos and have had no issues with him. He appears to be very business like and knowledgeable. I have 5 large dogs with various heath issues so I'm at Mann atleast every 3rd month or I'm calling for medications which are faxed promptly to the proper party. I receive prompt call backs directly from Dr. Angelos regarding blood work (which is more than I can say for other vets I've used in the area, I had to contact them for the information). He is not afraid of my large breed dogs. I found some vets were prejudging my breed.

Unfortunately I have to echo what the other reviewers wrote. My pets and I have been going to Mann Clinic since the mid-'80s and have been loyal clients, but as time has gone by, Dr. Angelos' "bedside manner" has gone way downhill. The way he treats some of his employees is unsettling as well. Mann has had some excellent doctors over the years, but none of them stay very long. Dr. Askin, Dr. Tippie, and Dr. Reagor were excellent and I would follow them anywhere. Too bad they aren't at Mann anymore.

THIS CLINIC HAS DROPPED THE BALL, ESPECIALLY SINCE DR. REAGOR AND DR. ASKIN LEFT. DR. REAGOR STARTED HIS OWN PRACTICE IN BERWICK (LUCKY PET ANIMAL HOSPITAL) AND DR. ASKIN IS WORKING IN GRAY ME. MANN IS UNDER INVESTIGATION BY THE STATE BOARD FOR MALPRACTICE ...BEWARE!

I have been going to this clinic for many, many years. Most of the staff are very nice, but Dr. Angelos is condescending, arrogant, and a bully. Always had good luck with the other docs, such as Dr. Askin, Dr. Reagor, and Dr. Tippie... but none of them are there anymore. My animals and I will be going elsewhere.
