i took my dog to have her looked at for a UTI. my old vet looked at her, considered the symptoms i was telling him about, and then when they couldn't get a sample from her (she's quite low to the ground) he gave her a mild antibiotic...within a couple days she was good as new. when i took her in to Pet Crossing today...it was very different and traumatic. first they couldn't get her temperature when they finally did get the thermometer placed she yelped and squirmed (she never used to do that at her old vet) then they couldn't get a sample naturally from her so they took her in back and tried doing something and i could hear her yelping and that didn't work. they had me leave her there for 1.5 hours and she finally went. then it took them until 8:30 at night to even get the results for me...sure enough i was right...she has a UTI. since getting home my poor baby keeps hiding under the bed or sleeping on my lap. she won't go up or down the stairs anymore. i think she's in pain now

I have had pet insurance for years and was always able to find a vet who would work with me to to get the services performed while waiting for insurance to pay. VCA would let me pay half down and the remaining.g half when I got the check and my primary vet would let me post date a check. But that was in Chicago. I offered to get prior authorization from the insurance company, post date a.check, work out some type of payment plan until the two weeks it take to get the insurance check but they said no to all of them. I'm not looking for free care just a vet that would work with me financially. In tough economic time it is important to find a vet that will work with you financially...this is not that place. I just had four grand worth of procedures performed last month and can say the services were terrific. Just don't ask for any.consideration when trying to use insurance.

I love this place! Very knowledgeable, experts with ferrets too. Take time to get to know your pet and make your pet comfortable. Sit on the floor with your dog instead of dragging it on a scary exam table. They really care about making it a positive experience for your pet. State of the art facility and equipment. Up to date on current vaccine recommendations and open to alternative medicine. Only downside is the price.

A bit pricey but well worth the money. Experts in the field of dental surgery. Encourage clients to be in the surgical suites to be with their dog/cat during procedures. This was a wonderful education for me plus I was able to ask questions as they arose. Facility is like going to a doggy spa.
