Staff: Majority of the staff are friendly and very helpful. Except for one girl (Sarah??). She has a bigger build and curly hair. Every time I have been here she has been extremely rude. She just has an overall negavice attitude. Facilities: Rooms are big, but they need more of them. Very dated, but I could handle that if prices were cheaper. Value: Horrible. They charge for services they did without asking (ear cleaning when nothing was wrong). They misdiagnosed my dog for months, and after $800 spent, found out the problem was just an infection from irritation. Meds are extremely expensive, and will not give a scrip to have filled at a pharmacy. Overall it is the money that is making me go elsewhere after 4 years. I am just sick of getting nickled and dimed for EVERYTHING.... esp when all I get is a mis-diagnosis.

I quit taking my animals to this clinic several years ago after the treated me and my animals with little to no compassion, made me feel horrible after having one of our beloved pets put to sleep for an incurable problem that we had spent hundreds of dollars and months trying to help. We also spent hundreds of dollars treating a skin infection on one of our dogs when actually it was a vitamin deficiency that was quickly diagnosed after finally going to a dermatological vet. The clinic was dirty and I would never recommend this clinic unless things have drastically changed in the last couple years.

All vets at this clinic are great. Dr. Barr is extremely knowledgable regarding sighthounds, especially greyhounds. One of the local greyhound adoption groups (Northern Lights Greyhound Adoption: nlga-mn.org) is associated with this clinic. If I have any complaint it would be that they do not like to write scipts for meds that can be purchased cheaper at pharmacies like Wal-mart. But really, who can blame them for trying to make a profit (or even break even). From what I understand, Wal-mart (because of their size and buying power) can beat any service or retailer on prices, so it makes sense that their pharmacy can sell meds cheaper also.
