The docs, esp. Dr. Lee Yanik, radiologist, were excellent. I'm an OR nurse (human) and was impressed with the professionals. I was not impressed with the other staff. Who knows who performs some procedures on the animals. When I took my pup in, the person who approached and took the leash of my female dog said, "We're just going to take HIM back, put him in a kennel, shave his BELLY and do an ultrasound on him." I said to her, "He" is a female, and she is here for an ultrasound of her eye, not her abdomen." She said, "Whatever...<duh>" I refused to relinquish my baby's leash to her and asked to speak to the doctor. She said, "Well, the doctor hasn't seen her yet and has no plan of care. You can speak to the doctor for a charge of $130." I refused to allow her to take my pup until things were resolved. Dr. Yanik, the radiologist, came out and promised to take good care of my dog, which he did. I won't return there based on their cavalier attitude of possibly performing wrong procedure.

Standard emergency vet. You pay a huge premium to have your pet seen in the middle of the night. Period. Also, I've never waited less than an hour - even at midnight on Christmas Eve. However, my kitty got the care she needed...so I can't complain.
