They run a bunch of expensive procedures without consulting. We were forced to take out a line of credit which they promptly ran a bunch of hugely expensive mystery tests and procedures that had nothing to do wth his illness. $4000 later they still had no idea what was wrong. We took him home

My dog came in as an emergency after surgery because of excessive blood loss. I was completely blindsided by the whole event and totally traumatized in general, thinking my dog might die.He was there 3 days and I visited every day. He required a lot of help and most of it was a mystery to me. When he finally seemed over the worst of it and able to come home, I joyously went to pick him up. I knew it would be expensive and seeing as I am a small business owner devastated by the economy, I asked my rather well to do sister to help me pay the bill. She gave me all the info to use one of her credit cards, as she was going to Jamaica. I had already given a check for $2073.00 which they required when he arrived. I gave the info to the staff person"checking him out". She refused the payment because my sister could not be called, no cell service where she was. She said they would keep him (my word) HOSTAGE at the tune of $2000.00 per day, until I could pay another way. $6400 for 3 days! AVOID!
