Click to report rating    10/18/12   4     2     4     2   I have been going here for quite a number of years and the doctors I have seen are very caring. Now, the help staff seem like they are just there for a paycheck. They cannot even figure out a male from a female from names like Butch and Sabrina, so I give them the low numbers for lack of caring and attention. The Vet is extremely expensive for the moderization of this older facilities. Their prices are eye openers when it's time to pay. One last issue/complaint I have is the sanitation / sterilization of the facility. I fear the cleanliness of the facility and operations have an issue that needs research. The proof I have is circumstantial, I admit, but here is a quick senerio. After a spay, our animal contracted a life ending disease that was diagnosed by clinic after the spay. Animal has no other contact with other animals ever and didn't transfer the disease to a tested litter prior to spay. So how did it contract the disease? HOW? It sadly keeps pointing towards the clinic. RID: 37920
Click to report rating    11/29/11   5     5     5     5   The staff there does a great job with my dog and cats. They are always able to get us in for an appointment and they have the best prices in town. The vet always does a fantastic job of explaining things to me and gives them the best care. I'd never go somewhere else! RID: 29450
5/5/11   1     1     1     1   I am sorely disappointed. They constantly make mistakes and misdiagnose problems. They only gave my dog 5 days of Meds for a uti. 10-14 days is the norm. When it didn't go away they tried to make me do another urine test even though they messed up his Meds. They misdiagnosed his joint problem, his ear problem, and TOTALLY MISSED his heart defect, which could have killed him. These are just a few examples. They don't know what they are doing and they don't care. They just want your money. They also do not treat my dogs well. One is terrified of the vet, to the point where he shuts down, cowers, and won't walk. The assistant stomps up to him, grabs his leash and just yanks him. He panics and balks and she yanked him so hard he was flipped over on his back and she still just kept dragging him! I had to take the leash back from her and I would not allow her near my dog. Take a few minutes to gently approach and make the animals comfortable. I expect much, much more from my vet. RID: 24824
Click to report rating    12/30/09   1     1     5     1   I love the vets, but the staff needs work. One of the vet techs walked out of the back with a large dog-aggressive dog. She walked it right up to my dog (who was on a very short leash) and it bit my dog in the face. She didn't even apologize or check to see if my dog was okay. Then they charged me $45 for a rabies shot. They had told me it was $15, but when she rang me up it was $45. When I asked why it was so much for one shot, she said they required the owners to pay for an exam in addition to the shot. If they had told me this before hand I would have went somewhere else. PetSavers charges $12 for a rabies shot. $45 is a huge ripoff, especially since I did not consent to the exam, and they let my dog get attacked by another dog. RID: 15938
Click to report rating    5/17/09   5     5     5     5   I love this place! They are so friendly and nice to my dogs. I had an emergency situation and they took me without an appointment and didn't give me any hassle about it. They saw my dog immediately, made calls to poison control, WSU, and local hospitals trying to track down the meds she needed. They truly are animal lovers and it's clear in the work that they do. The staff is also great. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a good vet. RID: 12839
Click to report rating    2/15/09   5     5     5     5   After spending a year trying to fix my dog's problem I had enough and decided to try Garland Animal Clinic. Immediately they knew what was going on and had a plan of attack! They fixed him up and have seen all of my pets since! RID: 11645
Click to report rating    1/22/07   5     5     5     5   I've taken several pets there and have always gotten great service from all. We just had to deal with major medical issues with our son - PICU for several weeks - and our dog was a little neglected. When we took him in they cleaned him up, clipped his nails, squeezed his butt and no charge! I highly recommend these folks who put your pets needs ahead of all. Oh, and they will work with payments once you've been established with them. RID: 2135
