This place does not even deserve 1 star. The rudest people I have ever come in contact with. I called their office on a Tuesday explained we just moved back from Georgia our dog has terrible skin allergies and has chewed herself raw. They scheduled her for Wed at 4:10. My husband and I brought our 11 year old shepherd to their office. We missed the turn into the office off of Park Ave. So we had to turn around in the traffic on Park and everyone knows what that is like at 4pm. We went in at 4:12 told them who we were. The girl said ok I will let the vet know. We sat down with our very nervous dog. The woman came out and said we will need to reschedule. My husband and I were so confused. So I asked why. She said because you are late. We could not believe it. We were 2 MINUTES LATE . So we said what are you talking about our appt is at 4:10. She says yes you are late it is now 4:18. Mind you we had been sitting for 5 mins. So we really arrived at 4:12/ 4:13. She said well you are late an

I have used this practice for 12 years. I can’t recommend it. There are facilities just as good and less expensive. If those facilities are near you, you are fortunate. This place is 5 minutes from my home and I can get my pet there fast. The facilities are clean. Records semi computerized. This may seem trivial but cleanliness and good record-keeping is paramount to good care. Get a second opinion and cost estimate for any non-emergency expensive treatment they recommend. If your pet’s heart is barely beating, some vets there will talk you into doing everything to prolong their life even for one day. Some staff there can be very cruel and manipulating if they don’t agree with the health choices you make for your pet. Some staff are very professional. Simple things to control costs like getting a prescription for a generic drug rather than purchasing the brand name from them takes considerable arm twisting. The women vets tend to be better than the males. I use Dr Wich or Dr Goldacker

Do not take your animals here. Surely don't board them here either. Boarding facility is not kept clean and the animals arent taken out to the bathroom, the'yre put in a new cage to do their business. Filthy facility in the back where animals are kept. Extremely overpriced. They have a doctor working here that accidentally killed a dog. Overall, DO NOT GO HERE.

Good facility, however extremely overpriced. Wanted to charge me $500 to spay my 6 month old puppy, when the other vets in the area are charging $90-$150. When I asked why Trooper Vet was so much more money, their answer was they "sterilize their equipment and the other facilities may or may not". First off, all of the facilities I contacted are clean and sterile. Secondly, how does "sterilizing their equipment" account for a 500% increase in price?? AVOID THIS VET AT ALL COSTS UNLESS YOU DON'T LIKE MONEY. Trooper vet also charged $47 on medicine and plymouth meeting vet charged $20 for same meds.

I've taken my animals to Trooper Vet for more than 20 years. Every vet I've seen has been professional and technically excellent. The quality of care is superb. They are on the higher end of the price range in the area, but I've used more expensive places for specialty care and not been as satisfied. Sadly, I've lost a couple of my pets to disease over the years and they were as sensitive and caring as they could possibly be. I highly recommend them, especially Dr Goldacker.

Pet care at the quality level of human medicine, thereby making the cost a deal. If you want cheaper, look elsewhere and you'll get what you pay for.

I felt like they were just trying to get more money out of me. I think the scales were even a little too heavy to get me to get more expensive medicine. The facilities are very nice and the staff is professional though. If you have money to burn, then I definately say to go here.

Wonderful, caring staff. Very informative and helpful. New, clean facility - as of 2005. Boarding is limited on size of dog - very reasonable for patients, too expensive for non-patients. Highly recommend Dr. Wich or Dr. Goldacker, have not seen other docs.
