This is by far the wost place to take your pet!!! IN MY OPION my little girl has kidney problems and this guy ( after he told me Im not trying to pad your bill) lol about 2 grand later put her on a heart med that now she cant get off for the rest off her life! after talking with two vets and a pharmicitcal egineer she should have not been given this drug his meds are at a min twice what you can get them online for and when you buy it online the proccess is a nightmere from the vets side of things and he presribbed a diet that is low in protien and phosferuos all studies show they still need protien I WILL NOT TAKE MY BELOVED PETS HERE EVER FOR ANY REASON ! the staff ? well they cant focous on one person at a time I left feeling like the only thing they cared about was money very heartbreaking

They charge FAR more than necessary. Find another vet. What should have been less than 200 in an emergency situation was nearly 700, they definitely are out to empty your wallet. Place smelled like urine too.

two words - stay away! I took my shepherd in for bloat - she was dying - crying howling. They wanted me to sit down and fill out tons of paperwork FIRST (to make sure they got paid) They also did not quite know what was wrong with her despite me telling them that she had bloat. I ran out the door and to Animal ER on Broadway and County Line - where the quickly diagnosed the problem, told me about how much it would be, I agreed, and my girl had surgery within 15 minutes. I will NEVER EVER go back here again!!!

When my dog was sick, I felt taken advantage of at every angle. I brought my dog in with medical records that stated he could not receive any sulfa antibiotics (something we learned when he was young). In the end they prescribed a medication that specifically stated not to give to dogs with who are sensitive to sulfa drugs. I found this out after researching the drug after my dog died. They seemed more interested in finding ways to spend our money than in ways to help.

I think the owner is price gouging. They charge $250 for an emergency visit (I had no choice!!) and for regular appointments or problems (like a limping dog) they tack on antibiotics and steriods for every visit ...I asked about the fear of developing drug-resistant bacteria and they said it wasn't a concern in dogs!! Then handed me a bill for $700!! Don't even think of going here, way too expensive, but if you have to, get an estimate and don't see Dr. Bregitzer.

Are they in need of money? They tend to push you into buying many unneeded meds or getting unnecessary tests done. I wish they would post their prices as you get a different quote every visit.

All they seemed to care about is getting money and that was after waiting for 40 minutes to see a vet!
