Dr. Tarrantino is a very short, skinny guy who usually wears a ball cap, even indoors. Academically oriented, his examinations are indepth and he is able to communicate what he has found to pet owners. He does more lab tests than some vets, I think. My sense is that he is pretty current about veterinary medicine. Lab tests can run up costs; he's not the cheapest. But I think the quality of care is good. And I don't think he pads costs at all.
