We use GVAC only when we really need to. They are very close to our home, but we prefer to drive the 70miles to a vet we like better. GVAC is very "old school". They don't believe in grainfree kibble, don't approve of a RAW/BARF diet, don't allow titers. The staff at the front desk are rude, pushy, and will try to force you to do as they say. They tried to force me to give my 12 weeks old puppy a rabies shot before letting me see the Dr! The Dr told me to come back when she was over the UTI she was being seen for, but we believe in waiting to closer to 6 months (the state law). If you believe in a natural approach to vet care, and want to be listened to and not treated like a stupid child, I wouldn't go to them. We use them for heartworm testing once a year, just so our dogs stay familiar with them in case of emergency. For everything else, we go to a different vet. I think it's time they start accepting change and opening their minds to more educated owners.
