Click to report rating    4/4/18   5     5     5     5   After seeing all the bad reviews, I felt so bad for them, couldn't sit back any longer. I have been going to this Vet for the last 7 years. I have been very happy with how my cats have been treated. Its a bit sad that only people who want to complain post anything. As to all the comments that say "pushy" or "expensive", you can go and compare the prices to others. YOU WILL BE BACK! We should do some research and see if what the doctor recommended is true instead of complaining his being wrong. Having a pet is our own responsibility, stop trying to blame others. The funniest thing I heard reading the comments is someone that said: "He's blocking the bad reviews". That's not possible xD I can tell the staff are really loving and caring for my pets, treating them like family. I will definitely be back. Definitely, recommend. RID: 65880
Click to report rating    4/24/14   1     1     1     1   I cannot even explain how upset and frustrated I am.. And to see that the bad reviews don't show up when you search this clinic up frustrates me even more. The last time my sister took our dog to the vet, he had said my dog is healthy and there is no skin problem, the thing growing on his lip is nothing either. it's just matter of if you care about what your dog's appearance. My dog just came back from another vet today, diagnosed with cancer from the growing TUMOUR on his lip and if we don't remove it, it will continue to spread across the body. The skin infection is has now turned to "supposedly cancer" and we are waiting for blood test results to come back in. Therefore, due to Dr. Chuang's misdiagnose we could not treat our dog's problem sooner, his problems have now escalated to cancer. I hope you can't sleep at night and I hope no one comes back to your clinic. RID: 51230
Click to report rating    3/8/14   5     5     5     5   Dr. Chuang has the sweetest staff you’ll ever meet. As soon as I walked in the door I knew this veterinary office was something special. When it came time to visit the doctor I was impressed; he is a man of high moral fibre and the care he gave to my precious cat went beyond the call of duty. Thank you Dr. Chuang. RID: 50389
6/9/13   3     3     2     1   The most dishonest vet I have ever encountered in Vancouver. Not to mention how pushy he is in selling unless awry products and procedures. Misdiagnosed my dog's heart problem.....he does not have a heart problem at all. I was being cheated and wasted thousands of dollars. Other vets, including the vets at SPCA confirmed that. If you go for annual check up of him pushing you to do blood panel or test without any obvious medical problem. It's a scam!! RID: 43021
12/3/12   4     4     5     4   In the past 10 yrs, I've brought my pets to half dozen different vets, & I gotta say, this clinic & the Dr is pretty good! 1 of my dogs has allergies & is always licking her paws. So when she stopped wanting to walk, I thought it was due to the swelling in her paws from constant licking. But when I took her in to see Dr Chuang, 1 look at how she walks, & he knew it was arthritis! My dog is only 9, so I didn't think of arthritis yet. He put her on a safe non-steroidal drug & within 5 days, she was running around like a puppy! Not only that; she used to have ear infections on & off, & was treated with Surolan, what other Vets had prescribed. But Dr Chuang gave her another brand of ear drops & a 2wk treatment cleared it right up! No more ear infections! I'm very glad I found this vet. RID: 38847
6/25/12   2     1     2     1   I've visited this clinic for three times and the last time I brought in my kitten, I seek for advice about nail clipping because my kitten started some damages to my sofa. The first thing the vet suggested was declawing my baby! He said it was a simple surgery that will permanently cure the nail problems. So, I went home and did a little research and realized that cat declaw is NOT a simple surgery! It's actually an amputation of the cat's finger bone and the cat would suffer prolonged pain and discomfort and life-long behavioral changes! I was shocked to learn that so I declined the treatment and went to another vet, and we brought some plastic nail cover and plus some training the problem is cured now :) I almost agreed to do such an inhumane thing to my baby!! Will never go back again! RID: 35188
3/31/11   1     1     1     1   this place is horrible!! if you want to save your money and your time never walk in or go back again they will take all the money as they can but cant helps your dog?i took my dog couple months ago when she began vomit, but the Dr.Zhung wants to do a basic body check for my dog,(since its unnecessary)and even asked my dog to stay over night!! and second day when i went back he couldnt explain the reason why she vomit since he already did the body checked...(x-ray etc...) and then i had been charged almost $600 by doing nothing!!! and on 3rd day she stop vomit (bcuz i didnt feed her alot or just some dog food) RID: 23978
Click to report rating    2/10/11   5     5     4     4   My pets have been seeing this vet for more than 5 years and I am quite happy with them. The vet always explains everything medical very clearly so it's easy to understand. He also always gives me good suggests and gives me the option to choose, never pushes me to do anything. The prices are quite reasonable and the staff are very nice and kind to my baby. They made me feel safe to leave my pet for boarding when I was away. I think for the way that they treat my baby, its worth the price. RID: 22749
Click to report rating    2/10/11   5     5     5     5   I was referred here by my dog's breeder. The staff is friendly and helpful. I can tell that they really care about my dogs. Everyone is so calm and it really puts them at ease (one is excitable!). I really suggest this one. RID: 22748
Click to report rating    4/2/10   3     3     3     2   Very pushy vet. Tries to sell you everything he can. Tries to spread out the visits so you have to return and pay $$ for another visit. Would not recommend or return. RID: 17339
Click to report rating    3/21/09   4     4     2     2   The vet is pushy, always ask to get more extra things to do. At the end, the bill is expensive. RID: 12195
Click to report rating    1/29/07   4     4     4     4   This vet was suggested to us by the plac where we got our kitten. The vet there is quite reasonable and seems to know his stuff, he doesn't 'push' any 'extras,' and explains what he is doing and why. RID: 2277
