The receptionist is rude and not helpful. Asked me to call back for vaccination records and also send her an email, which took a week in total and still no reply. Her response was for me to call back every single day to see if they are free enough to process my request during this quarantine period, which should not be their busiest time.

After seeing all the bad reviews, I felt so bad for them, couldn't sit back any longer. I have been going to this Vet for the last 7 years. I have been very happy with how my cats have been treated. Its a bit sad that only people who want to complain post anything. As to all the comments that say "pushy" or "expensive", you can go and compare the prices to others. YOU WILL BE BACK! We should do some research and see if what the doctor recommended is true instead of complaining his being wrong. Having a pet is our own responsibility, stop trying to blame others. The funniest thing I heard reading the comments is someone that said: "He's blocking the bad reviews". That's not possible xD I can tell the staff are really loving and caring for my pets, treating them like family. I will definitely be back. Definitely, recommend.

Awhile ago, my GF took our cat to this vet. (She insists on going there because vet speaks her native tongue.) In my opinion, this doctor does not know what he is doing. Either that, or has no clue what he is prescribing. My GF took our cat there to seek help for diarrhea. Instead of prescribing medication, vet said must change diet, since diarrhea could be diet related, so need a prescription diet to help. Lo & behold, vet sold my GF FIBER food. My GF did not know, until after getting home & feeding our cat all that extra fiber. I'm sure you all know what happened. My GF wanted to go back & get a refund, but I told her not to bother. Knowing these people, they won't refund anyways. No point in arguing with someone that prescribes fiber for diarrhea. I hope that after reading to my GF all these comments on here, it would change her mind, & seek another vet.

Please BE AWARE & DO NOT go to this clinic for any examations or surgeries, especially neutering or spaying your dog. Over charge, poor service and knowledge, poor surgical skill, always add-on items and end up a surprise bill. Very dishonest vet. You can not Google any negative reviews on the Internet, because they put block or something like that. For your lovely dogs, please tell your friends.

I cannot even explain how upset and frustrated I am.. And to see that the bad reviews don't show up when you search this clinic up frustrates me even more.
The last time my sister took our dog to the vet, he had said my dog is healthy and there is no skin problem, the thing growing on his lip is nothing either. it's just matter of if you care about what your dog's appearance.
My dog just came back from another vet today, diagnosed with cancer from the growing TUMOUR on his lip and if we don't remove it, it will continue to spread across the body.
The skin infection is has now turned to "supposedly cancer" and we are waiting for blood test results to come back in.
Therefore, due to Dr. Chuang's misdiagnose we could not treat our dog's problem sooner, his problems have now escalated to cancer.
I hope you can't sleep at night and I hope no one comes back to your clinic.

Dr. Sam Chuang save the life of my sheltie dog with the right medications on his 2nd opinion. Even though his clinic is a little bit far away from my place, but is worth to bring my dogs in. The price is fair & reasonable & his staffs is very friendly. I will keep bringing my dogs to visit this clinic in future & have no doubt to introduce Dr. Sam Chuang to my friends those who have pets.

I have been going to Dr. Chuang at Pacific Pet Clinic since my dog was 3 months old. She is now over 9yrs and I always get friendly kind service. Dr. Chuang is so gentle caring and kind. I have been very satisfied, and I never worry when I leave my little one there, I know that she is in good hands at all times. xo :)

Dr. Chuang has the sweetest staff you’ll ever meet. As soon as I walked in the door I knew this veterinary office was something special. When it came time to visit the doctor I was impressed; he is a man of high moral fibre and the care he gave to my precious cat went beyond the call of duty. Thank you Dr. Chuang.

My dog recently had bladder stones surgically removed by Dr. Chuang at Pacific Pet Clinic. This was after my dog's original vet told me she had kidney stones. I went to see Dr. Chuang for a second opinion and upon reviewing her x-ray films I was told she had bladder stones, not kidney stones. The surgery went well and what impresses me most is the caring attitude extended by Dr. Chuang and his staff. Dr. Chuang and his staff contacted me daily after the surgery to check on my dog's progress and patiently answered my concerns. There is true compassion coming from this vet and his team. I find his charges reasonable. I live no where close to this Clinic but this is the place to be for my dog, for sure.

The most dishonest vet I have ever encountered in Vancouver. Not to mention how pushy he is in selling unless awry products and procedures. Misdiagnosed my dog's heart problem.....he does not have a heart problem at all. I was being cheated and wasted thousands of dollars. Other vets, including the vets at SPCA confirmed that. If you go for annual check up of him pushing you to do blood panel or test without any obvious medical problem. It's a scam!!

In the past 10 yrs, I've brought my pets to half dozen different vets, & I gotta say, this clinic & the Dr is pretty good! 1 of my dogs has allergies & is always licking her paws. So when she stopped wanting to walk, I thought it was due to the swelling in her paws from constant licking. But when I took her in to see Dr Chuang, 1 look at how she walks, & he knew it was arthritis! My dog is only 9, so I didn't think of arthritis yet. He put her on a safe non-steroidal drug & within 5 days, she was running around like a puppy! Not only that; she used to have ear infections on & off, & was treated with Surolan, what other Vets had prescribed. But Dr Chuang gave her another brand of ear drops & a 2wk treatment cleared it right up! No more ear infections! I'm very glad I found this vet.

I've visited this clinic for three times and the last time I brought in my kitten, I seek for advice about nail clipping because my kitten started some damages to my sofa. The first thing the vet suggested was declawing my baby! He said it was a simple surgery that will permanently cure the nail problems. So, I went home and did a little research and realized that cat declaw is NOT a simple surgery! It's actually an amputation of the cat's finger bone and the cat would suffer prolonged pain and discomfort and life-long behavioral changes! I was shocked to learn that so I declined the treatment and went to another vet, and we brought some plastic nail cover and plus some training the problem is cured now :) I almost agreed to do such an inhumane thing to my baby!! Will never go back again!

My pets have been seeing this vet for more than 5 years and I am quite happy with them. The vet always explains everything medical very clearly so it's easy to understand. He also always gives me good suggests and gives me the option to choose, never pushes me to do anything. The prices are quite reasonable and the staff are very nice and kind to my baby. They made me feel safe to leave my pet for boarding when I was away. I think for the way that they treat my baby, its worth the price.

I was referred here by my dog's breeder. The staff is friendly and helpful. I can tell that they really care about my dogs. Everyone is so calm and it really puts them at ease (one is excitable!). I really suggest this one.

EXTREMELY pushy vet and staff. Charges a lot more than any other vet I've taken my dogs to. One of the staff there (young, short Chinese girl with long black hair) is the worst of the worst. Bad attitude all the way!

This vet was suggested to us by the plac where we got our kitten. The vet there is quite reasonable and seems to know his stuff, he doesn't 'push' any 'extras,' and explains what he is doing and why.
