Very happy with Gagemount Animal Hospital and all the staff there. They are so caring and always more than willing to answer all my questions I may need about my dog's health. I would definitely recommend, one of the best in the area!

All I can do is to sing the praises of this veterinary clinic and staff. The vets here are committed to the wellbeing of your pet. They treat your animal as if it were their own. From the moment you walk in you sense that all is going to be well here. I would recommend only this clinic to anyone who is in the Hamilton Area if you are looking for the finest, value for your money, 100% committed VETS of CONVICTION not convenience.

I have been taking my dog(s) to Gagemount for the better part of 50 yrs now (since I was 4) and wouldnt dream of going anywhere else. The level of care is out of this world (while the fees are not). Dr Keir and his staff go above and beyond to care compassionately, thoroughly & professionally for all pets. The staff is knowledgeable & reliable - often a simple problem can be solved over the phone. Dr. Keir is always available to tend to your pet - taking the least invasive road first - you NEVER feel like your pet is a money making machine - while at the same time your pet's health is always Gagemount's top priority. I have had three dogs over the course of my life, Berkley my current Golden, has had a variety of health issues over his 13 years - Dr Keir has been stellar in solving all of these issues. I have never met a more compassionate caring vet. He has never put dollar signs ahead of an animal's comfort or well being; rather the opposite is true. They r truly amazing.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Dr Keir and the staff at Gagemount Animal Hospital. Dr Keir took care of my first shepherd and was there with his professional advice and support correcting everything from her digestive issues to helping her overcome her episode of Gastric Torsion (the flipping of the stomach) When my girl was in the final stage of her 13 yr life with her hips deteriorating and physical abilities descending Dr Keir gently and compassionately answered my questions and kindly explained the next stages of progression. Now a year later I have ventured into my new shepherd puppy and will continue to take him to Gagemount for their excellent service Dr. Keir has such patience and kindness even when my little guy is in the hyper,nippy stage. He not only takes wonderful care of the physical aspects he has also been helpful with a few tricks with the behavioural aspect. I highly recommend this vet clinic to everyone who expects exceptional care for their pets.

Dr. King is such as nice man and the staff here are lovely. Decided to go to this clinic when I moved to Hamilton because of the good feedback online and word of mouth. I have not been disappointed.

Not sure where to start but I'll try. I brought my dog in to Gagemount because of an excessive amount of drinking and urinating in the house. Come to find out, she has diabetes, (which I had expected due to research and word of mouth). I went to Gagemount and they did not bother to change her diet, they just said keep her as she is. Gagemount could not regulate her sugar. I went in and her sugar was 21, six months later it was 25! So fast forward six months later, following THEIR directons, my dog is now losing her vision from cataracts. She is going blind quickly. If anyone has bothered to read this far, I HIGHLY recommend Beattie Pet Hospital. I brought my dog there and she was changed within a day. My dogs vision is still going but I have some hope from Beattie. Her glucose is regulated and her urination has been a complete turn around! If only Gagemount would have been more proactive, my dog would not be going blind. SAVE YOUR PET, GO TO BEATTIE!

I have 2 rabbits that I have been taking to Dr. Keir for 4 years. I have had to take one in for sneezing and snotty nose and the other one had GI problems. Dr. Keir was able to diagnose and treat both of them and had a great bedside manner. I will only go to Gagemount.

I used to take my dogs here until we moved. I wish it was still a reasonable driving distance to go to see Dr. King. He was always kind and wonderful when treating my dogs. I have two beautiful Basenji's and they actually liked going to the vet. We had a scare a long time ago with our male getting into a hornets nest. Dr. King was amazing with his care and monitoring of our dog was fantastic, not to mention the staff understanding how scared we were and helping us mentally cope with what could have been a tragity. Everyone understood how worried we were and how much our dogs are a part of our family! Luckily our guy was fine and is still in great shape today! We miss you Dr. King!!!

They are kind and have always helped my animals without driving up the bill with test ect. that aren't needed. The vets are great.

We have been taking our dog here for 9 years and never had an issue. Staff are great, and our dog likes everyone there. She has only had a few mishaps, none that serious, but all where handled appropriately. I have no qualms about recommending Gagemount Animal Clinic.

I was devasted with the wrong diagnosis of my rabbit. Dr. Keir did not remove the access in my rabbit, did not even offer it as an option..but instead gave me drops to give to her. I relied on the vet for the best treatment; it was only after a day (when she died) my sister did a simple Google search and discovered, that accesses have to be drained and removed immediately. Drops would not help it. I believe Dr. Keir didn't pay the attention deserved to my poor rabbit since it wasn't a cat or dog. I would have paid any price to heal her and said this. I would definitely not recommend this doctor; at least for rabbits..but you would think that if he didn't know how to care for her, then direct me to someone who can. Don't go to this clinic for rabbits. So very, very disappointed.

I was very disappointed with the care my cat received at Gagemount. I think this clinic might be okay for dogs, but I will never take my cat there again. When my cat was sick they didn't seem to have any idea about what was causing it. I finally took her to a cat clinic for a second opinion. They immediately recognized the symptoms and treated her appropriately. We will not be returning to Gagemount.

I am very picky when it comes to choosing a veterinarian, and for good reason. I have been taking my rats to Dr. Keir; it is hard to find a good exotics/small animal vet and he knows his stuff. I would not hesitate to recommend him in a heartbeat.

We have been going to Gagemount ever since we moved to the area and the care given to our cats has been fantastic. We have one diabetic cat that has to go and stay overnight whever I travel and she is not at all concerned to go and is perfectly happy as soon as we arrive, she gets out of her box and wanders around as if it is her second home! Both Dr King and Dr Keir are extremely knowledgable and consider the welfare of thier patients first. All of the staff are very caring and comassionate and I would recommend them without hesitation.

My family has been going to Gagemount for as long as I can remember. The staff are wonderful and accomodating. Most importantly they are compassionate and kind. What I apprecaite the most about Dr king and Dr Kier is they always start with the least expensive and least invasive procedure and continue on from there. That is not to say they will not send you for expensive tests or treatments when necessary but I don't feel they are only out to make a dollar. Both vets are patient and listen to your concerns. They take the time to investigate each concern fully and are always available for advice. Both my current and last Golden Retriever went to Gagemount and I could not imagine going to another vet. When I travel I always tell my family and dogsitters that if anything happens, they are to do whatever the vet reccomends as I have complete confidence and trust in them.

I have been taking my dog to this vet since he was eight weeks old (he is now about 8 months) and Dr. King has always been wonderful with him. My dog Nike is usually nervous around unknown people but took to Dr. King straight away. Although it is a little pricey, their services are well worth the extra money. I would recommend Gagemount to anyone.

We moved onto the Hamilton Mountain and chose based on a friends recommendation. It has been one of the best choices we've made for our dog. The front desk staff are AMAZING - we have avoided numerous appointments because of their calm and sage advice ( our dog gets into all sorts of odd troubles...) And when we do come in for visits the Dr.'s are always incredible. We now live outside of the city and we have decided it is WELL worth it to continue to use this vet practice.

Dr.King is wonderful I took my dog there because he started limping. Dr.King did X-Rays and noticed there was a change from his previous X-Rays and sent us to see the animal hospital in missiusaga. There wally was diagnosed with a FCP in his shoulder. Elbow displaya they did surgery and wally is doing much better now. If it wasn't for Dr.King i don't know what would of happened to my dog.

The staff have gone above and beyond with our two dogs. They genuinely care about their health and well-being, and both Dr. Keir and Dr. King are fantastic with both dogs and owners! Both doctors and all the staff are wonderful. They treated by cat, Winnie with great care & love considering she was a miserable thing with other people. Dr. Keir gave me the right advice when it was time to put her down last year and was very sensitive about the whole issue. The staff didn't try to push me out the door to use the room, they let me stay as long as I liked to say goodbye to my beloved kitty. Now that I have a dog, I would never think of going anywhere else. They give Tasha excellent care and I never have a problem getting a last minute appt. They are the best in the City!

Gagemount A.H. is something you will not find in your average clinic. The staff are wonderful and Dr. Keir is amazing with animals! If you are in the area and need a vet please see him! He has seen my cats and dogs in the past and I've never had an issue with his services. He takes pride knowing your pets are healthy and when their not, he's does whats best for them. Also the receptionists Tony and Courtney (I think they are?) are really good with getting you out fast which is great when your rushed! The only big thing I don't like is that huge tree infront thats blocking your sign!!! Overall, Dr. Keir and his staff are wonderful. Thanks so much :)
