Click to report rating    10/18/11   1     2     2     1   Dr. Smoih is one of the worst vets I ever dealt with. He overanethesized a gdog for a minor injury...and now it is unclear if the dog willeven live. tcalled my friend's dog IT...and vicious jsut because the dog was frightened. He was told the dog needed a muzzle and instead gave four different anethesias. He did nto say he was doign this or ask permission. He said the dog woudl be out for two days..who ever heard of such a thing! He came out and said, "I dont care about yoru dog." He gave so much anethesia that knocked him otu so much I feared for his life..never told of the risks...akll for aminor industyr. Dr. Smith does not appear to even like animals...He pretty much came out an said he didn;t care. Peopel take a great risk in taking their animals to him. In my opinion, any other vet woudl be a better choice. RID: 28403
Click to report rating    9/28/10   1     3     2     3   This is the most uncaring vet I have EVER delt with. I have worked in veterinary medicine in the past, so I know the proper way things should be done. I unfortunatley had to have my cat euthanized. The vet never introduced himself to me. His staff basically choked my cat with a no slip leash meant for dogs while trying to restrain him. I explained to them that he can be difficult at the vet, and requested that they give him an injection of a sedative before handling him, which they ignored. They never got a weight on him, and the Dr never did an exam. I was absoultley horrified after leaving this clinic. RID: 19973
Click to report rating    10/6/09   2     3     4     3   Dr. Shortall is very abrasive and short-tempered. If you want to be talked down to and rushed through your visit, he's your man. Dr. Smith is better but you don't always have a choice. RID: 14558
Click to report rating    7/8/08   5     4     4     4   I've been very pleased with this vet; the staff is friendly and gentle with the animals and explain all procedures fully and in understandable language. Prices for routine procedures (spaying, etc.) are posted. RID: 9214

Click to report rating    1/30/07   5     4     4     5   They've done a fantastic job with my animals over the years, both in routine care, and emergency situations. You cannot beat their prices in the Baltimore area. RID: 2314
