Vet strategy corporation owns this clinic and 4000 more across Canada. Does Vet Strategy care about your pet or revenue they can glean from it during its lifetime? Go to Glass Door on the net and look what the employees have to say !!! We found VS to be 2x the price for teeth removal. Our pet will not be continuing at Coxwell Animal Clinic. We all love our pets, we want proper care and reasonable prices to care fore our pet.

Couple of red flags with this clinic. 1.They recommended my dog have primary teeth extracted under general as a pup... 1 week later teeth fell out. 2rd Got a call to schedule neutering, person on the other end had no idea the details about what the doc actually said.3rd and final flag, I took my pup in for an emerg exam and the Vet told said didn't believe his leg was broken, got a second opinion from another vet there who agreed. "Looks like a sprain". Gave anti -inflammatory meds (which in a fracture and actually delays healing). Turns out, little pup had a fractured tibia and patella requiring orthopaedic surgery at an emergency clinic at a significant expense. Worst part, having the pup home for 7 days on a misdiagnosis. To top it off the follow up phone call got heated and the office administrator who was not part of any of clinical visits claims she can “guarantee the doc didn't make that diagnosis”. Dropped the ball on this case. Let's hope it's not a constant.

I have been to a number of vets and settled here after having consistently good experiences. I feel like they are in this business because they love animals, not just for a paycheck. No matter who we see here, its a positive experience. I have recommended this clinic to others who feel the same. They always take good care of my shih tzu and I have never felt the bill was not reasonable for the work. Also once when my dog hurt his back and I had a critical work event they kept him for the day, called me for updates and pushed me to go and focus on work. I will never forget the positive impact that had on the situation and my work life. They called me throughout the day to update me and treated my pet like one of their own. Hands down the BEST vet around.

My bichon has bladder stones and after being severly overcharged at a clinic on bayview for my dogs surgery, I decided to switch to coxwell animal clinic. I am so glad I did. They came up with a treatment plan that is working very well. Vets and staff are lovely to deal with. Very happy with this clinic!

Overall I like this clinic. I recently took my young dog there for a neuter surgery. They took great care with the preparation, the anaesthetic, and he came out well. Unfortunately, I was disappointed that the sutures were so poor: skin mismatched, edges folding in, edges folding out, large gaps. Entire area very raw. They gave us a good post-surgical care sheet, but they didn't include anything that could be put over the area that would soothe and help heal. I ended up trying a few things, but it would have been safer if I had been given a "safe" list. Also, short leash walks for 10 days was very unrealistic for this dog - tranquilizers would have been required for that!

Our dog has been a patient of the clinic for the past 4 years and we have received great service and support. During the past 4 years our dog was diagnosed with both food and environmental allergies and the staff at the clinic have worked to find solutions and relief to make our dog more comfortable and healthier in the long run. We appreciate that the staff have researched options and worked with new partners to help our dog and all the while been sensitive to cost considerations. I also appreciate that they always remember us and make us feel like part of the clinic community.

I have been going to Coxwell Animal clinic for a couple of years now after my previous vet was no longer available. My cat required surgery and Dr. Ryder was both compassionate and understanding of my many concerns and questions. The staff also was very caring in that they called frequently to inquire about her condition. Thank you Coxwell Animal Clinic for making the transition pleasant and being there for all my family members.

This is the best vet office around. I had a bad experience with a different vet office, and was in a rush to find a new vet as my dog was quite ill. Coxwell took me in right away, and was able to help diagnose my dog quickly. Dr Kestelman was fantastic. She was very thorough and incredibly knowledgeable. Although my dog eventually had to be taken to a specialist (due to the nature of her condition), the vets at Coxwell continued to check in on my dog and make sure that she was doing well and that all of my questions were answered. Because of the excellent service, I have transferred both of my dogs to Coxwell permanently. I have been very satisfied with the service since. The staff here, from reception and vet techs to the vets themselves are all amazing. Everyone is super-friendly and knowledgeable. I rely on them for everything! I highly recommend this vet!

We recently moved to East York and needed to find a new vet for our 7yr old dog and new puppy. The staff at the Coxwell Animal clinic have been fantastic, knowledgeable and very friendly. The Vet took her time and explained things in detail. Costs were outlined clearly and the bill was explained line by line. We have had four dogs over the years and have had good and bad experiences with Vet clinics...this one is the best. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vet clinic in East York.

I have been bringing my furry kids to Cowell for 20 years and am extremely happy with everything. I have an 18 year old cat that receives incredible care from all the vets, technicians and front staff. They really do go the extra mile to make sure everything is going well. I have and will recommend Coxwell to anyone I know that needs veterinary services.

I will recommend this clinic to any pet owners, i'm pleased to said that this clinic is one best clinic that i ever have visited. i recently move to west of toronto and i still go there cuz i haven't found a clinic with good reviews around my area. On april one of cat was diagnose w diabetes i was overwhelm with the news but everyone at this clinic were all support and have guide me every step to keep my kitten diabetes in control. All the veterinarian and staff are so friendly, well educated,caring ppl towards your beloved pets. Once again without any doubt about i will fully recomemd this clinic to any pet owners.

This is a great clinic. The Vets and support staff are great!! Pookie (cat) always seemed comfortable with them. Dr. Ryder is compassionate but will not give any false hope, very much appreciated. Pookie and I were at the clinic when she passed and Dr. Scott, Rosie, Matt and Vanessa were amazing not only with Pookie, but with me also. Great clinic and I will bring my future fur babies here.

I've been looking for a good clinic for my pets for a while, and I haven't found any better than Coxwell. I have only seen the female veterinarians, but they are extremely knowledgeable and kind. I absolutely love the receptionist! I feel like my pets and I are appreciated and welcomed when we go there. Just overall a very good clinic.

Coxwell Animal Clinic saved my cat's life, and I highly recommend this clinic to any pet-owners out there! If it wasn't for the immediate and quick actions of both the veterinarians and staff, my cat might not be here today. The veterinarians created a quick and effective plan of action to help her during a critical time, and the staff even stayed hours after closing in order to provide the best treatment for our cat. We didn't feel rushed, and both Dr. Kestelman and Dr. Scott followed up with us regularly after the procedure to ensure my cat was doing okay. They are great veterinarians, and all the staff and team are highly skilled and genuinely care about the well-being of all the animals that come in. I can't praise them enough!!

Chose this clinic as it is in the neighbourhood & within walking distance. My dog is only 3 mths old but the care I have received so far has been great. Rosie who usually greets us when we come in is VERY nice & attentive. I can't say whether the price is more or comparable to other places, but for the convenience and care, I won't be looking for another clinic.

The staff at this clinic are fantastic! They go above and beyond to make sure our dog gets the best treatment possible. They are patient and understanding. The surgical care our dog received when he had his eye removed was outstanding. We recommend this clinic to everyone.

Have taken our 15 year old dog there since he was a puppy. The Doctors and the rest of the staff are so wonderful that our dog loves it there and runs to their front door whenever we have to visit. Have heard it's expensive compared to others but as we've never gone anywhere else I don't know, however, even if it is, I'll gladly pay the extra just because they make my dog so happy!

It was really cool the way he gave Snooky two shots and she has oblivious that she got a shot...CQQL! Good Serious and very professional Vet! Only met him once. Highly recommended by me, worth the price...G

Not our regular clinic but we had a very sick rabbit and our clinic of 14 years was unable to see us. The Coxwell clinic took us in without an appointment and gave us excellent care. We lost our bunny while we were there and the staff, virtual strangers to us, were kind and comforting. They even sent us a follow up sympathy card. I had heard good things in the past about this clinic but had never experienced it first hand until then.

This is a great clinic! I decided to try it again as I had a bad experience here with the previous owners. The new vets and team are amazing...very organized and professional. The renovations look great too. I had to wait 10 minutes, but not a big deal.

I searched for a new vet clinic when I got my kitten and after a hit and miss I finally found this clinic. The staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and willing to answer all your questions. When I adopted my dog from the shelter the first stop was at the clinic where she was successfully treated for some health issues. Once again, this is a great place that I have recommended to friends who now also rave about the care their kitty receives. I especially appreciate the follow up calls that show me that my pets health is of prime importance to the vets at the clinic.

Dr. Timothy Arthur and his team are amazing. He's been the only vet for my pet rat, and I don't think i'd ever go to anyone else.
