I have been going to Loomis Basin for six years and I love it. Although I see the same vet - Dr. Hess, they have specialists in certain areas of medicine. The facililty is extremely clean and sanitary. The staff is very friendly and my dog loves it there which is unusual. 24 hour care is a bit "pricey"but woth it.

Too big, too impersonal. Some vets are only there a couple of days, so you never know whom you pet will see. One vet gave medicine, said if it doesn't work, would need an antibiotic. Two days later, I called, that vet was out (only worked two days,) and there was no notation for antibiotic need. Had to make another appointment. Long wait in large waiting room with a number of pets, wait to see vet in the room, and then another wait in separate room to pay the bill. In Loomis, we all start at Loomis Basin. Then, most of us switch to a vet who gets to know our pets.

THIS IS WHERE I TAKE ALL MY PETS. FROM THEIR 1ST VISIT TO THEIR LAST. THEY ARE VERY HELPFUL, COMPASSIONITE AND FRIENDLY. THEY TAKE CARE WITH ALL THEY DO AND ALSO TAKE IN STRAYS THAT YOU MAY FIND BUT CAN'T KEEP. THEY HAVE TAKEN CARE OF SEVERAL OF MY NEIGHBORS BABIES AS WELL. WE HAVE ALL HAD OUR CRITTERS SEEN AND WHEN NECESSARY THEY HAVE HELPED WHEN THEY HAD TO BE PUT DOWN. VERY HELPFUL IN THEIR SUGGESTIONS FOR HOW OR WHAT WE NEEDED TO DO DURING ANY OF OUR VISITS.
