I understand things happen but to ignore my complaints that something was wrong post OP is just plain egotistical. I have spent years and lots of $$$$$$ trying to fix what was done by this vet. My dog went late in the day for a scheduled hip procedure that was supposed to have been done in the morning. When a dog goes in surgery at 4:30 after a day of emergencies nothing good can happen. He went back to their emergency room 4x after surgery and each time the emergency vet on call said nothing was wrong. Well I finally insisted an x-ray be done and the dog had a broken bone in his pelvis because they removed the plate too early because of an infection from the first surgery. What a mess I will never forgive them for ruining a 6 month old puppy who has had a life of pain. People love this vet and I don't know why??? RID: 20160

6/20/10   3     3     3     1   Do not go here if you pet is seriously ill. I could talk for an hour but I'll keep this review brief. In our experience, they do not explain the odds of survival, the options available to you, and their cost estimates are way off. VSH was recommended by our regular vet. If we knew how little the odds of a positive outcome, how much suffering our dog would endure due to surgery, and how way, way off their cost estimate was, we would have euthanized the poor girl the first day. We were told that the dog had a liver tumor and fluid in the abdomen with lots of white cells, but we were not told that the odds were very high that this was advanced liver cancer, and that liver surgery would require costly blood products. My dog suffered needlessly so their surgeon could get practice and they could bill me. RID: 18461
