Very upset at their care of my dog who went in for severe back pain. 1st vet examined her saw no neurological issues prescribed rimadyl. Came back in as pain still bad another vet prescribed methycarbonal and did exam for neurological and no indications of that.Called in because she was still in pain and 2nd vet said they could add another med for pain if needed but 2nd vet not in so another vet said go get an mri rather than call in presciption for pain. Ended up going to emergency vet hospital where they did 3rd exam and no neurological issues and they prescribed tramadol.2 vets said that they usually prescribe all three together but this practice simply caused unnecessary pain in dog, stress on me and expenses that I should not have incurred. My dog was howling in pain.
