I prefer Dr. Whitted and Dr. Whitener over any vet I have been to in Caldwell or Burke County. I have never had a problem with them. I probably would not have grooming or boarding there, but the vet's are great.

We are pleased with the vet care, grooming and boarding at this facility. I am a foster home for Samoyeds and thry have helped return over 20 of my rescues to health. They also care for my pets and those of my daughter. They give a discount to the rescue group and I am pleased with there care. Nancy Greene Conover, NC

We boarded 2 dogs. One had his toenail ripped out and we were not informed. We discovered it an hour after pick-up. He was given booster shots that were not needed and without our permission. I understand that accidents can and do happen and we should have been informed when we picked them up. We paid for grooming and baths so they would have seen the toenail was ripped out and the entire nail bed was exposed. They neglected to write down the shot record from our former vet. The girl who checked us in for boarding did not sign the check in form and had to be tracked down by other staff. The groomer failed to note that the nail on the pinkie of the rear left foot was gone. They failed to write down previous shot records which I took to them on our first visit. This was our first time boarding our babies and it will be the last. They normally travel with us but this time we could not take them. Conover Veterinary Hospital, shame on you!
