Dr. Kay Bishop has seen many of our iguanas for various ailments, diseases, surgeries, etc. She is AMAZING! She's so gentle and caring with the animals, and has an excellent bedside manner with the human conpanions as well. She patiently explains what's going on, the options and prices for treatment, and is very conscious about trying to provide affordable care for all animals. She is one of the kindest and most compassionate people I've ever met. However, I'll warn you that if she sees your animal, tells you what's wrong, recommends treatment, and does everything in her power to care for your animal, she expects YOU to do your part, too. She is not a happy camper when folks ignore medical advice because *it's too much trouble*, or *this animal just costs $10, I'll just let it die and get a new one*. She cares very deeply for animals & will work with you to make sure you understand what needs to be done & that you are equipped to follow through. It breaks her heart to lose one.
