Difficult to get them to write a prescription, refuse to honor fax requests from internet pharmacies.
Been going there for 4 yrs. Always called 1x per year to get heartworm prescriptions. There has never been a problem until now. I was told it is not possible since one of my dogs has not been seen since 6 months ago. If I had requested the prescription at my dogs visit 6 months ago they would have given me a 1 year prescription, now they will only give a 6 month prescription. If I had requested the prescription at my dogs’ appointment I could have held the prescription until now and had it filled. She said according to law they could not issue the prescription - she was unable to tell me what law prevented them from writing the prescription (because there is none) and why they always gave me the prescription in the past if it was a violation of the law.
