I have been coming here for about 2 years now. I really enjoy the clinic. I love the vets, especially Dr. Bone who is very thorough and down to earth. The building is old but is clean. Sometimes i feel like i am being "sold" services and products. The prices are high but they seem to practice some really advanced medicine. I have heard there is a high turnover of vets but hopefully that won't happen.

This used to be a great facility when Dr. Atkinson owned it. Loved Dr. Shaw but was surprised to find he was gone. New owner perfomed my dogs spaying procedure. He was supposed to pull all baby teeth at the same time, but left her canines behind. they never came out on their own! I never met the doctor, only his technician and no one bothered to check up my dog aferwards. Very disappointed in the new ownership and will not be going back.

I have been taking my two dogs there for 9 years and love the doctors and staff. They give excellent care to my pets and are very caring towards me. I have complete trust and confidence in Dr. Vitucci and feel grateful to him for helping my dogs live a better quality of life.

Dr. Atkinson sold the practice to M. Vitucci and he fired Dr, Shaw and brought in his wife. Patients were not told of this until you showed up for your appointment with Dr. Shaw.

Patients are not told that the vet they were seeing is no longer there. They suprise you when you show up for your appointment. Vets do not stay at this practice for some reason.

The biggest complaint is that your pet never sees the same vet twice. For some reason it is a revolving door for the vets.

I've taken my dog here for 4 years seeing Dr. Shivelbine for most visits. He left this practice in July 2008. The one visit I had with Dr. Vitucci left me unimpressed. The building & facilities are older but kept clean. Also the only boarding done now is for medical reasons. The fees for exams, immunizations, lab work, etc. seem to be average to high for this type of vet clinic.

I quit going to this vet when the hospital administrator butt her nose into the decisions that the vet and I had made in determining treatment for my dog. She lectured me the entire time I was checking out and paying my bill. If she wants to be a vet she should put a white coat on and hang her license on the wall.

A bit pricey. The owner, Dr. Atkinson, doesn't seem to like animals very much. When I have had an appointment for my dog, he wouldn't even touch her. He stood across the room to "diagnose" her. He does hire some very talented young veterinarians, however, but they don't seem to stay very long. I've seen both Dr. Shivelbine and Dr. Vitucci and they are excellent.
