Dr. Pulin is a very knowledgeable doctor, & seems to care for the animals. Unfortunately we didn't have a good outcome with our Buddy. Not because Dr. Pulin was at fault, he did surgical procedures on Buddy, (ACL) bi-lateral were ok, the injections into his hip and knee joints didn't respond as hoped,& were painful After Buddy's orthopedic needs were met however, Buddy went into renal failure. We feel that we were int informed about how far advanced Buddy's condition had become, Dr. Pulin saw Buddy, but went on vacation the following day. We didn't know about that. What took place after that should never happen to any dog. The Vets that took over for Dr. Pulin were not capable of handling our case, he was given a dose of BP med. that made him not able to walk & recognize us. We had to put Buddy down, he was so sick. This was not done properly and Buddy fought to sty alive, very horrible thing to witness. The Vet had to leave the room twice to get more medication! So unprofessional.

I love this place, but it is soooo expensive. I always board my dogs here, because I like the indoor pet park and the web cam. The people are great and the service is wonderful, but I spent over 5300 on my lab when he needed surgery on his rear leg. That was bad enough, but the over the counter medicine I was told to give him (for the rest of his life) was 3 times the cost of mail order and even another vet. That hurt.

My dog was treated for a simple cut, and quite frankly after I RECEIVED THE BILL i understand how HOW Dr. Pullen paid for the new facility. He may be a good surgeon, but he is money grubbing and doesn't have a good bedside manner. Furthermore, there is no Dr. Lee at that hospital.

I have to disagree with the person who stated that Dr. Pullen is only willing to work with people who have lots of money. My pit bull had a broken leg. The surgery cost us $3000 & $1000 in meds & other stuff . I did not have $3000 to pay at once. I could not find ANY vet to work with me. Animal Medical (called Pet Medical at the time) was the last place I called. I was crying so hard and asked them if they could help. They told me to come down. They looked at the x-ray and told us what needed to be done. I started crying and told them that we could not afford it. They let us give them what we had (about half) and worked out a payment plan for the rest. We had to get additional x-rays during the healing and I had found a cheaper place to get them done. Dr. Pullen said that he would like to do them himself, so he charged me the cheaper rate. Animal Medical is AWESOME! The staff is great (especially Connie). They really care about animals and their owners! Thanks pet medical!!

There are 2 main vets at this facility and several other associate vets. I haven't worked w/ Dr. Pullen (main vet), but have worked with Dr Michael Lee (main vet) and he is wonderful! One of my 3 cats growls, bites and scratches when she's at the vet (at home she's fine). Dr. Lee is so gentle and caring with her and does not get the least bit stressed with her irate behavior. One of my cats was recently diagnosed with thyroid problems and Dr. Lee was not available so I consulted with Drs. Martin and Sabo (associate vets). Both were very caring and consistent in their care and diagnosis with my cat. Their prices are a bit high, but their facility is gorgeous. I have never had negative issues with any vets there so I do recommend them.

Dr. Pullen treated my dog for 6 years. In 2005 she was admitted for hospitalization. He knew she could not urinate on her own because she had an atrophic bladder and required to be catheterized 3x a day. He neglected to insert an indwelling catheter while she was on IV fluids, and did not empty her bladder for 2 days. He then called me at home requesting me to come to the hospital and perform the proceedure. She was suffering so and emptied 30 oz. of bloody urine. He refused to admit that this was wrong. He charged me $3000 for 3 days, and then yelled at me because I asked him to work with me on the bill. Later, his staff was mean to me and refused to provide me with her medical records. Dr. Pullen is a good surgeon, however he is strictly interested in working with people who have alot of money and will pay for his high priced services. My dog came home and within 40 hours she was so sick I had to have her humanely euthanized.
