I have been a client of Dr. Rittenberg's for over 5 years. As always, his care and concern for all my pets has been wonderful. He spends ample time with each of my pets, and explains everything thoroughly. He and his staff are great, and I wouldn't hesistate to recommend Foothill Pet Hospital to anyone.

I went to Foothill Pet Hospital and had a very good experience. I have not been happy at other places I have been to, but felt the doctor and staff here were just super. Dr. Rittenberg spent a lot of time with me and my pet. He was very caring, explained my options, and recommended what he thought would be most helpful for my pet and her problem. I would definitely recommend them to my friends.

I found Dr. Rittenberg to be pretty rude and will not go back to see him, nor would I recommend him. He didn't really listen to me and I did not like the way he gave constant, unsolicited "advice" about raising my pets (even when I basically asked him to change the topic) because I never asked him and I found it annoying (and a waste of time). He insulted my pet which I found offensive and not an indication of someone who really cares about animals. Any doctor's manner is important b/c it helps set the tone for your relationship with them. It affects the animals and the people who care about their pets. I found his manner offensive and uncaring. Hence, he is fired.

Dr. Ritt is excellent and very willing to answer your questions, listen to your perspective, and explain what you want or need to know. He always follows up to see how your pet is doing. He's an excellent surgeon as well as diagnostician. His staff is superb. Everyone knows your pet once you've been there.
