Click to report rating    6/3/13   3     3     3     3   I just made an appointment for the first time with this clinic and will probably be cancelling it. I had to give this clinic a rating on this website because I could not move forward without it, please disregard actual rating. I don't know anythuing about what the staff and doctors are like, but I was put off by the receptionist's demeanor over the phone. That is normally the first impression someone has of a business. Click to report rating    11/10/11   1     3     3     1   Part of a large corporate money making machine more concerned with inflating your bill & form of payment than caring for, saving your pet or stopping your pet's suffering. They profit from your vulnerability in an emergency & are not honest with you about options but very closely watch the clock at quitting time. They are ridiculously expensive without the quality of care to back up the poor service they provide. WILL NEVER return & DO NOT recommend. RID: 28999
Click to report rating    9/2/11   5     5     5     5   took care of all my kittys and close to home..and the staff is awesome. RID: 27339
Click to report rating    7/30/10   2     5     4     1   My puppy was seriously injured butI did not experience much empathy. There was considerable confusion. Several times I explained when my puppy was injured, but Dr. Payne continued suggesting that the injuries happened days before they did. There were also conflicting diagnoses and poor staff communication EXCEPT ABOUT MONEY. VCA East Penn is part of a chain and reminds me of Walmart or McDonalds. I never knew what Vet was working when I took my dog and would prefer one regular Vet for better continuity of care. So I am not going to return. This place is also EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE. Some common procedures--such as spay/neuter--cost three times or more what they cost at other places. Impersonal, lack of empathy, poor value and quality of care for the price. RID: 19002
Click to report rating    8/8/08   5     5     5     3   They are expensive, I admit. But the staff is great and they are almost always on time. They have been very good with some of our "difficult" pets, and when we think a procedure is too expensive, they don't press us too hard about doing it. We've been going there 10 years with numerous pets and we're happy. RID: 9617
Click to report rating    2/1/07   5     5     5     5   A wonderful place- the staff and Dr.'s are very, very loving and caring towards the animals. They give good treatment, and have a very down to earth approach. Prices can be a little bit high, but I've been using them for 15 years, and have always been happy with the treatment my animals got.
