If you enjoy being gouged and taken advantage of then this is the vet for you. Specifically Vet Vanessa Burghart. 1st time we had a cat with a cold, instead of giving meds to treat it we went thru a whole process of unnecessary procedures which cost us over $500 - now we go with our dog who has a UTI and she again wants to do a whole bunch of tests over $400 - I asked for antibiotics, she said no, "I'll give you antibiotics if we go thru the proper channel" Says that I was refusing care. Meanwhile she's refusing to treat a patient. (as per COV) If you don't want to pay her estimates she will ask you to sign a refusal waiver. This vet is ridiculously money hungry, If you continue to go here avoid this specific vet. Family has taken their pets here for over 15 years and this is what is becoming of vets, just money hungry. If they cared about pets they wouldn't ask for treatment refusal waivers. Manager is just as money hungry, complaining to her is useless. Pet Vet treats pets as $$$

Pet Vet Lakeshore is the worst place to ever bring your pet. We saw 3 different vets there, with 2 of our cats for different reasons. First cat: they ran needless bloodwork costing over $300 to tell us everything was fine. Second cat in for routine neuter: they over-vaccinated causing his immune system to attack his blood, we watched our baby slowly waste away until he died 5 months later. They refused to admit it was their over-vaccinations that did this, trying to convince us to get more tests and bloodwork. He was very healthy and perfect before we brought him in, and immediately after the vaccines he got sick and never got better. It doesn't take a genius to see the direct cause and effect. They also didn't keep his meds stocked, knowing we were using them. Vanessa, who vaccinated him, would not see us afterwards, probably due to guilt. For the love of pets everywhere find a better place, one that cares about the pets and their health, not profit!

They are the "BEST" of the best. I had taken my dog, Bandit, to this veterinary clinic his entire life and the caring, compassion and dignity that they have always shown both Bandit and I was second to none. Dr. Bissonnette, Dr. Machowski, Dr. Atmore and Dr. King are truly what a "Veterinarian" should be in the best of ways. Dr. Bissonnette had a special relationship with Bandit always calling him his baby boy. Dr. Bissonnette and Dr. Ryan were there when I needed after hours help (or just a kind word) when Bandit was going through his cancer treatments. The day before Bandit passed, Dr. Machowski even stayed open a bit later to see if he could help Bandit with a bleeding tumour. On his final day Dr. Bissonnette and Dr. King showed Bandit and I so much tenderness, compassion and patience. I cannot begin to tell you how much that meant to me. All the staff (Patti, Doris, Christine, Kristin, Marla, Margo, Krystal, Kim, Anna, Bonnie, Jordan, Kate and Emily) are amazing people. xo Pau

I called and was quoted a feline neuter package for $357. My husband went in and was told that I was quoted the wrong price as their fees had gone up in may (I called three days ago it is September!). Then there was extra fees! Bad service although excellent doctors. The director, Amy, didn't even have the decency to call me back when I questioned the issue. Never going back

This vet is a money grab. Everything they do is to make you pay more money. They give me a price and then provide me with a final product that costs much more than what they had quoted. I have taken my dog there 4 times now (not sure why I even went back after the first visit) and I have spent more $ on those 4 visits than I have for the entire 5 years I have owned my dog. They SUCK. I will never return to this vet again.

I have been taking my pets to Pet Vet for 15 years. I love them! The knowledge of the staff, not just the vets but everyone from the kennel attendants to the lovely girls at the desk. My 13 year old dog was there last week, we left him there for the day so Dr. Dennis could do some blood work and xrays. I called several times while he was there because I am a worry wart, Ann at the front desk NEVER made me feel I was pestering her, even though I`m sure I was. Dr. Dennis gave me updates right away and if he wasn`t available, their technician Mario helped me. The prices were very reasonable, I only paid just over $500 for everything they had done because they have a medical package. Reading some of these other comments I am appalled! My guess is it`s jealous competitors or people who don`t know what quality veterinary medicine is. Highly recommend them to all my friends, and the best part is, when I do recommend people, I get a $20 put on my account. Keep up the good work!

This vet was terrible. They brought our kitten back frequently and requested multiple tests and xrays be done with no results. We finally brought her for a second opinion and the new vet figure out what was wrong the first visit. Pet Vet played on our emotions and knew they could get more money out of us which was sad, our kitten suffered for 3 months! Extremely disatisfied.

This clinic provided me with inacurate pricing to get me through the door...the attitude of the staff was petulant...pricing through the roof...do not recommend this clinic...sadly the doctors are excellent but the administrative staff should consider occupations in garbage pick up or some such industry...they offered inaccurate information and had an extreemely bad attitude...I paid less than half the price at another clinic for the same proceedure.

Horrible service. Front staff are rude. Waited over an hour for an appointment. The vaccine prices are good, but if your pet gets sick its going to cost you, they nickel and dime you for every little thing they do. Make you feel guilty for not wanting to do a certain test or procedure. When I called for an update I was on hold forever then told that someone would call me back, and never did. Will not be going back.

This clinic is awesome. When my dog was having serious health issues no matter if I walked in or had concerns they were always willing to work with us.The clinic knew him well and my dog was always super excited when I told him he was going to the Vet. He loved the Kennel they provide. When my dog passed last month everyone was soo caring and sympathetic and also expressed tears. They really show compassion for animals and their families. Now I have a new family member and can't wait to introduce him to the clinic! :)

Unbelievable place! I want to get my 3 years old dog spayed, then I bring her to the vet. They told me $517 package for everything. It may have additional fees as my dog is old. Dr Weight said she will let me know. I took a vacation for that day, everything is prepared. Then The day before the operation, the doctor called me and told me the additional fees will be between $100 to 300. It depends on how long it takes the doctor to complete the spay. What a funny reason!!! How could the additional fees can be more than 60% of your original code???? I decide to not to go as you can't trust them. I went the West bridges, they give me a code and told me the price won't change unless doctor find something during the operation. I can understand extra effort costs extra fees, but it has to be reasonable.

Beautiful facility, great doctors and staff. I see Dr. Vinny Boyaninsky with my cat Oreo. She was vomiting and very sick. He did blood tests and x-rays immediately. I was very impressed with how he made her care a priority.

The Credit Valley location is great all the staff are so friendly the vets are very informative and kind. The manager also teaches training that made me more confident having a new puppy she was amazing. They tell you the truth even if its not good news. All vets need to make a buck its a living but these guys only do what is best for your pet. I would recomment Pet Vet to everyone. None of my past vet experiences have been like the one with them. They are truely a great tem of people

Very expensive, the vet did not return my call and he was very callous. (Dr. Verbickas) He was indifferent and seemed to care more about money than he did about my dog.

Once upon a time I was a relatively uneducated first time pet owner and I signed up at the clinic closest to me - Pet Vet Credit Valley.
After a few years and following all of their "advice" faithfully my beloved animal started having MANY health problems. Then I began digging and educating myself and I found out many dirty and unethical practices going on at Pet Vet Credit Valley. They're basically cowboy veterinarians that don't give a crap about your animal - they want to over vaccinate and over medicate and keep them sick so that the animals have to keep coming back and they make more MONEY. That's the God's truth.
If you truly love your animal - DO NOT EVER set foot in that place. They WILL lead your animal to a slow death. It's taken me 2 years to repair the damage that they've done to my animal....he is now better than ever now that he has a good vet who wants the best for the ANIMALS and not for their BANK ACCOUNT.

Had a terrible experience with my kitten where I was told by the veterinary surgeon that she had lymphoma. Turned out that she was fine, but had a terrible two weeks of worry. Otherwise, the staff are good and most of the vets are good as well.

We took our pup to the Lakeshore location and had a wonderful experience. We were conflicted as to where we should take our new pup after looking at this site for a little while and I believe we made the right decision. Very well priced and practical when it came to additional shots and protection he may need. We will continue to bring our little guy for many years to come.

Dr Vinney saved my dog's life!! To make a long story short my regular vet sent me to another clinic which wanted $2,000 to correct the heartworm he contracted. Dr Vinney did it for $500 and we didn't loose our pet!!! Dr Vinney is an amazing vet who explained everything about heartworm and the risks involved. My regular vet had the look of a deer in the headlights when my dog tested positive for heartworm. I have since changed my vet from Bucksburn to Pet Vet and I'm staying because of their expertise in this area. We were told our dog had a 10% chance he wouldn't survive the arsenic based treatment. Dr Vinny suggested a heartguard treatment and so far our Bullmastiff is doing just fine. Thanks to the good people at Pet Vet!!

Good prices in comparison to other vets in the GTA. Great hours, not many vets open on Sundays. I found the staff to be very friendly and the vets to be very knowledgable about my breed of dog.

The Lakeshore office is pretty good - the frontline staff (vet-techs, receptionists, etc) are really friendly and nice. They're great for saving $$$ when you have a new pet that needs shots & spaying, however I dealt with both full-time vets there, and I got the feeling they couldn't care less about me or my cat. I wouldn't recommend them if you have a lot of questions about your animal, or their illness - in fact, I've moved the cat I spayed their to my regular vet, who I'm much more comfortable with. But I probably saved over $300 by getting her first three boosters and her spaying done there!
