We have been Tri-city clients for years, and have worked with multiple of the vets. Everyone at the clinic is committed to providing the best and most compassionate care to our pet, and treat us with warm and compassionate respect. The vets always explain their diagnosis and recommendations clearly and appropriately for laypersons and answer all our questions. The techs ans staff are excited to see all our questions our cat come in. We always manage to get an appointment in a very timely manner (easier than at our super busy human doctor!) There's a vet clinic literally 2 minutes walking from our house, but we still drive 45minutes Tri-city because we know the quality of care they provide and fully trust them.

I have been a client of Tri-City for a number of years. They are the kindest, most compassionate veterinarians. They are knowledgeable and their understanding of what you need as a client for you pets is beyond belief. The entire staff work well as a team and all are committed to giving you the best care possible.

This place goes above and beyond you expectations of what a vet should offer! The staff is amazing and so personable! I drive close to an hour away from my home to go here! It is worth the drive to find comfort in my pets care! The meds that I purchase I know can be found at a lower cost elsewhere but I know that I am supporting a small business that may not have the same cost savings on ordering those meds for my pets as a big box vet! So I will willingly pay the price to support such an amazing place!

I have a Congo African Gray parrot and it is hard to find a vet that cares for him at a decent cost. They take good care of him and will even call afterwards to check up on him and make sure he's doing good. We have been going there for a few years when our other aviary vet became too expensive. We have no complaints and are very happy with them. They always try to make sure he stays in the best health.

My family has been taking our pets here ever since I was little and now that I have my own home and pet, I wouldn't trust anyone else. They are always kind and gentle to my animal babies and the staff really knows their stuff. They are very good at giving your pets prompt attention and in the event of an emergency, if they are not open, they can recommend the closest animal emergency clinic. The staff all have pets and chances are if your pet is having an issue, then one of their pets has had it. They are the best, top-notch!

They have been treating my dog for 6 years now and never let me down. The friendly knowledgeable staff is fantastic and have helped me keep my dog healthy and happy. I trust them very much and they have never let me down.

Love the place! We have been thru a lot together, new pups, old pups, rainbow bridge. I always know that they will be there for my pets and I- Dr Van Horn came in on a Sunday morning to help me with Yoda, my dog 12 yards ago. Wouldn't go anywhere else. They're the best! Debbie M.

I have been with this practice since it ws located in a small white house on Manchester in front of what is now Shop and Save. I would not trust my furbabies to any other practice. I know each of the vets and their staff and all have been extremely kind, caring and helpful to our every need. I acutally was filled with anxiety when I moved out of state for a bit and had to find another vet at my new location and felt no one could take care of the babies like they do for us at Tri City!They have come to my home for treatments as I have some very large dogs and when the time has come to say good by they have always been there. When my Summer slipped away in her sleep and I needed to get her to Tri City the entire staff was at the door to help me with her and grieve with me.

I have been using this clinic since 1994 when I arrived in the area. They are awesome. Never had a bad experience. All my 4 legged kids LOVE them too

Advertises cheaper than Pet-Med but actually charges 3 times the advertised price as PetMed. Bait and switch that you would expect from a used car salesman.
The facility was adequate the Bill was WAY above the upper limit estimate and the service was nothing special.
The caregiver said she was unable to give anestisia, yet I was still billed for it. They insist it was used but I doubt it.
After looking up the markup well above PetMeds price, they would not accept the return of the unopened medication they overcharged for nor reimburse the difference. I will be writing the BBB about this place as well so yuou can also see this review there.
Since this place has changed owners it is no longer a good value will NEVER return.
I know a half a dozen vets that could have provided the care they did for 1/4 the price.
I went here because it used to be the best, not any more.
Save yourself a headache and find a reputable veterinary office.

outstanding dr's and staff! if need to talk to one of the vets they will pick up the phone or call you back quickly. i called the office at 6:15 on a sunday morning when my wiener dog was having breathing problems, i was shocked when dr. van horn answered the phone at home and gave me instructions! i will never use another vet for my dogs,and have recommeded them to many friends!

We just started going to Tri City & so far very happy. He takes so much time to explain & go over things. I just happened to stubble across this website looking for something else & was amazed by all the great reviews! We were previously recommended by a friend, and it looks like that friend recommended a great place!

I have been with the Tricity Animal and Bird Clinic since Dr. Hogan took over. I have had the good fortune to have Dr. Van Horn take care of all of my cats and can tell you that he is surrounded by the most competent vets and staff that I've ever seen. I travel all the way from south county because I don't trust anyone else to take as much time and care of my animals. I am a nurse and know that they have used every means possible to take care of them and also know when it is time for me to say good bye to my little family members. They treat my cats as though they were their own and are up to date on all of the latest tests and treatments. I have never thought of using anyone else and feel they deserve more than a pat on the back for their kindness and compassion.

After moving to Chesterfield 10 years ago with 2 dogs and 4 cats I tried a couple of dismaying vet clinics, totally unsatisfied with the care provided; then a friend from a rescue group sent me to Tri-City! Yes, they are friendly and caring but, also so competent and they do keep up with all the new meds and procedures. I love Dr Morhaus, Dr King and Dr Van Horn and most of my animals would not have lived so many years without them. I highly recommend them if you care about your pet(s).

What a great group of people! Everyone on staff is caring & knowledgeable, and goes out of their way to be helpful. They take their time and really listen to concerns and questions -- and STILL manage to be punctual with appointments. I'd recommend them to anyone!

I have to say that Tri-City is the best vet in St. Louis. One of the best parts of the practice is that when I walk in I am treated like I am part of the family. They always know who I am and they are ready to give me their undivited attention whether I have a serious concern about my animal or if I just want to chit-chat. I would trust in any recommendation that the doctors give me concerning my pet, and I know that I have a whole team of qualified and expert people making sure I know all the facts about my pet's health. They help me be the best pet owner I can be for my pet.

When we had to put out dog down, everyone in the office with Dr. VanHorn was there for us. He told us to take all the time we needed to say Good-by to her. Dr. VanHorn and his staff are so caring and loving people. I would never consider taking my animals to any other doctor.

I drive 1 hr 15 minutes to this vet, I would not go to any other in the area. Absolutely fabulous, caring Doctors and staff, best medicine and car for your pets.

Although this vet was very far from where I live, I would consider taking my cats to see Dr. Morhaus again. I felt she listened to me and was observant and careful with my special needs kitten
