The modern clean and professional appearance is superior to any I have been to. Staff is warm and friendly, compassionate and LOVES ANIMALS! Doctors are available on emergency basis after hours and freely give advice over the phone to give direction about what needs to be done. They stress importance of pain control and helping animals.

I moved a lot in the last 10 years and tried few vet offices. I have to say this one is as far the best I have ever been to. Everyone is very kind and always answers all the questions I have. My cat was sick and they were the only ones who solved the issue without expensive tests (I went to 3 places before with the same problem)

We love the staff at Oakland Animal Hospital! They are always so nice and helpful. Other offices we've been to pushed unnecessary tests seemingly to run up the cost. That is never the case here. Even if it takes us a lot longer to get here from where we live it is always well worth the trip.

I brought my new puppy to this office and found the staff very helpful and patient. They answered all of my questions and explained everything in a manner that I could understand. I was greeted with a smile when I walked in the door. The doctors were considerate to spend extra time with me and the Vet Techs were extremely nice. They truly care about both the pets and their owners. Love this place!

I find the service and the administrative staff (along with several of the veterinarians) here to be horrific. This establishment is "in it" for the money. They failed to let me know the results of a very serious fecal exam for one month; after I called FOUR TIMES and spoke with DIFFERENT VET TECHS was I given a "proper" answer. Came back in, saw a vet, received an antibiotic; went home, researched it, and found out that it was the worst possible alternative for a young puppy of 10 weeks old (could have caused major damage even if used in the short-term only). Called to give them a piece of my mind, and only THEN was the response quite different. Find the prices to be outrageous on medicine, simple bloodwork/fecal profiles, and visits. The doctors are rushed and don't want to answer questions. An impersonal experience and QUITE disappointing. Called to have my puppy's records faxed to two places, and they refused to send them to another, saying they'd already faxed them once!
