We moved to Tallahassee in 2007 and shortly thereafter found one of our dogs to have kidney disease. We needed a knowledgeable vet and Dr. MacMillan was recommended by an associate of our breeder and UF vet school. She is very up to date on treatments and has been great in closely monitoring our one dog (along with UF) in particular. She is also great in explaining exactly what is happenening and what will happen next. Plus when possible, she recommends over the counter meds that are safe to give to animals (and cheaper than prescriptions). They are conveniently located on S. Monroe and we can get meds and food there, plus they are open on Saturdays and they take walk-ins!!! All of the staff is friendly and very accommodating. We take our 2 dogs and 2 cats there.
