June 30 I took my american bulldog here for his annual appointment. He needed 4 vaccinations -
we got there Dr. Palmer administered the vaccinations in another room (which i'm told is not standard practice) and then came back. Next day my dog was in severe pain. They were difficult to work with me even trying to get an appt to be seen the next day, they tried to charge me for emergency visit! (even though they caused the problem). 3 weeks, $1,300 dollars, 5 vets later my dog had to be euthanised. Salem Animal Hospital was very defensive about being responsible, they claim the vaccinations had nothing to do with his condition.Dr. Rudy said "it is a mystery". I do not know what happened that day, my dog was healthy 3 year old pup, within 24 hours he was never able to walk again. I would NOT recommend this veterinary hospital- Rockingham Hospital, Wignall and Dr. Robin Dolliver were extremely helpful and empathetic.

Some of you may be wondering - what the **** am I doing up and fully awake and at nearly 4 AM in the morning.. Well, at 2:15 AM this morning, I got a call from the on-duty veterinarian at Rockingham Emergency Veterinary Hospital in Windham NH... Gracie had been out of the oxygen chamber since around 11 PM on Sunday and seemed to be doing better.... But, suddenly, at just around 2 AM, she went into oxygen depression again, and had to be immediately returned to the oxygen chamber... Her little heart started to give out, after already having experienced trouble due to a reaction triggered by the anesthesia she had undergone prior to her spay procedure on Friday (the reaction took place on Saturday, which resulted in my parents and I having to rush her to the clinic
in Windham NH).... Mom and I immediately rushed up to REVH, where, at just around 3 AM, Gracie peacefully
slipped away in my arms after being administered the medications
that sent her across the "rainbow bridge"...
