Click to report rating    11/21/11   2     2     2     4   Dr. Cameron is smart and definitely cares for animals - he shows it. Staff can be moody, sometimes friendly, sometimes rude. The billing person will quickly tell you money is owed but forgets when there is a credit on the account. The office is very chaotic and sometimes, very long wait to see Dr. Cameron. He is good at what he does, so if you can try and deal with the rest of the place, then you should bring your pet to him. RID: 29286

Click to report rating    4/4/11   5     5     5     5   Dr Cameron is a very special Vet as well as a very special person. I have been taking my dogs and cats to him for twenty years and have always been more than satisfied. Recently my cat developed cancer in his jaw. Dr Cameron and the staff not only provided the services needed but showed genuine compassion for the cat and my family. When it was time, I said goodbye to my best friend Storm in the most humane way for the pet as well as for my family. As if this was not enough...I received a hand written personal condolence card from Dr Cameron and the staff. I recommend Cameron Animal Hospital from the bottom of my heart. Thank you Dr Cameron...you are one of a kind! Sincerely, Ken and Ronda and family RID: 24104
Click to report rating    12/30/10   1     1     1     1   I had to wait an hour and a half for an appointment that lasted about a minute, two minutes tops...The vet was not a great communicator. RID: 21676
Click to report rating    5/31/10   1     1     1     1   My perfectly healthy dog was brought to Dr. Camerons hospital to be boarded for 3 days. He is a 5 year old hyper wheathen terrier with no history of illness. 3 days later he was returned in a highly lethargic state, with difficulty walking and lacking balance and leg strength. Within 24 hours of being home he begin to experience uncontrollable seizures. He was brought to an emergency vet where extensive testing revealed extreme dehydration and severely high salt content. This caused swelling to the brain and seizures. The dog remained hospitalized in critical conditions under the care of an internist and neurologist. His health eventually improved and was released after 11 days with no diagnosis. Medical bills totaled $11,146. He eventually fully recovered. There is no way this severe illness was a coincidence since a perfectly healthy dog entered cameron hopsital and a dog near death was returned. Dr. cameron totally ignored the situation and never contacted us again. STAY AWAY! RID: 18190

Click to report rating    8/4/07   5     5     5     5   I just moved to the area and wanted a good place to take my cats without having to drive too far. Cameron Animal Hospital was close when my cat's nailbed infection got suddenly worse. My old vet (in Hoboken) told me that nothing could be done but bathing it daily with an expensive solution--a trip that cost upwards of $150. My visit to Cameron Animal Hospital cost less than half that price, and now, just two days later, the infection is visibly improved. I was given a simple solution (so that she wouldn't lick it off), and that indicated to me their understanding of practical solutions. In addition, the vet (Dr. Pab..?) was gentle with my cat, as was his assistant, and they kept her calm by talking to her and patting her throughout the examination. Trust me, I'm picky about vets for my four-legged children, and these guys are incredible! Truly, the best vets my cats have had (in 7 years and 3 states!). RID: 5482
