My Vet of 20 years retired and then I needed to find another so I brought my dog to Somerset Animal Hospital who stopped eating after a brief exam Dr. Reddy stated that he had a blockage and stated that he does not do emergencies and referred me to an emergency clinic. Well 8 days and $2500 later no blockage just an infection which cleared up with medication. They are very expensive for the services offered.

When we moved to Somerset, we switched our three cats here since it was closer to home than our previous vet. We had some routine visits for shots and whatnot, then my male cat developed a UTI with crystals in his urethra. Dr. Reddy (sp?) spent a week catheterizing my cat, then told me my cat needed surgery and he didn't have the expertise to do it, so he referred me to another vet. This vet performed the surgery, only to discover after it was too late to discontinue the surgery that Dr. Reddy had been inserting the catheter into my cat's FLESH and not into his BLADDER and that had the catheterization been done CORRECTLY, the surgery would have been unnecessary. My cat spent a week at Somerset Animal Hospital, then two weeks at the other vet. We later discovered that Dr. Reddy prefers birds and reptiles to cats and dogs. I nearly lost my best friend (my cat) because of thise place. I would stay away.
