I just came upon this site and wish to add my experience with Eagan Pet Clinic. I have been using them for about 18 years for various cats and dogs. I followed them when they moved into their new location and building. The lobby and exam rooms are very nice and modern. I,and my pets have always been treated very well. The front desk people and the doctors have always seemed top notch. Time caught up to our dog of 15 years, and it was time for her to move on. Like the first reviewer the procedure took place in a exam room, but that was not a problem for my wife and I. They gave us all the time we wanted. The staff and doctor were as nice and caring as could be. With myself and my wife crying, they did offer a side exit that we could use, but we chose to use the front door. A few days later a note arrived from them with a paw print of our Sadie on card stock It is now framed and on a wall. Very caring of them. I have no reason to go anywhere else.

Recently had our beloved pet put to sleep at this clinc. Had a late day appt. and when we arrived we had to wait at the front desk for a receptionist. We were finally escorted to a regular exam room - very non comforting surroundings. Vet was just ok. Have spoken to many other friends after this and they experienced private comforting rooms- couch, soft music etc.. and a bell to ring when you are done with your goodbyes. Should also have a private entrance to leave by. Would not go here again. They did not show any extra comfort in this sad time for our family.

Our family has been using this clinic for 25+ years and they have cared for all our loved pets like they were their own.
