We went to this vet for years and found it slowly going downhill yet very expensive. Our pup needed to be spayed and someone from the office staff gave us a quote of $1200.00. The pup weighed 5 pounds. We were shocked and spoke to the vet who treated our dogs who told us he could do nothing that was the price. Needless to say we went to a new vet and paid $400.00. We also had a bad experience where one of our dogs was misdiagnosed on a Saturday and died on Monday.

Took my Cockatiel to this Vet and he gave me an option of meds or putting him to sleep. I asked what would he recommend and he said that he couldn't give me that answer so of course I wanted to put him on meds to hopefully make him better and I was not even able to give him his first dose of meds. The Vet had to know that he wasn't going to make it but led me to beleive that there was some kind of hope. Now I find out that cremation for a bird who is only a couple of ounces will cost me 200.00 ... all in toll just short of 400.00 ... A definite Rip off ... I think this is horrible. Then he asks me if he could have a consultation with the head Avian Vet so I said yes (that probably hiked my bill) ... My Labrador Retriever cost me less to cremate her.
