Dr. Mitko killed my perfectly healthy 4 year old lab via a botched neutering surgery. He paid quite quickly for a new puppy, which could never be a replacement of course, the only reason I didn't drag him into court. I later learned from colleagues that he botched many cases-he should not be licensed, let alone STILL in practice!

I can not say enough good things about South Brunswick Animal Hospital. I love all of the doctors there and the newly renovated hospital is gorgeous! One of the doctors even gave me a tour of the back of the hospital which was also renovated and has state of the art equipment. Everything is so clean and nice and the care they give my fur babies is second to none. They also charge less than most of the other local veterinary hospitals - I am so happy I found them!

SBAH is fantastic!!! I take both my cats and my dog to them. They spend the time to answer all of your questions. The doctors will get down on the floor and play with your animals, make them feel comfortable and not scared. My dog had ruptured a ligament in his knee and they were able to repair it at a FRACTION of the cost of most other hospitals. They are compassionate and good at what they do and do NOT charge excessive fees. (the knee surgery was $2500 LESS than another estimate we had gotten at another hospital.) There is very little turn-over of staff/doctors which speaks volumes to me! I have been going to them for over 12 years and have seen all of the doctors throughout the years and would recommend them highly to everyone. Dr. Cotler is very competent&funny (did the knee surgery), Dr. Mitko is very down to earth and easy to talk to, Dr. Capodanno(McDreamy) very nice and intelligent, Dr.Perris compassionate and thorough,Dr. Mischel has an affinity for all critters.
