I have been going to KAMC for 8 years and was pleased until recently. Their prices have gone through the roof and the new techs have less care for the dogs emotional well being than in the past. When informed my dog was face shy and I would restrain for shots this was ignored and they muzzeled my dog and did the exam without my being present. Which has not been procedure before. No consultation of pricing and after the yearly exam, paid $405!

Each of my 3 dogs & 2 cats got basic checkups + updated shots/vaccines; all of the dogs were groomed. Our vet (Dr. Smith? - newest vet @ the time) was FANTASTIC: helped prioritize necessary treatments in the future given that my financial situation recently changed dramatically. One of the receptionists seemed less than helpful at 1st but every other time I've worked with any staff (including this one), they've been WONDERFUL & have done anything they could to help save money so I can continue to care for my fur family. Grooming here is the best I have ever experienced; the groomer is absolutely wonderful with animals large, small, friendly, shy, timid & excitable - she truly is exceedingly good. Finally, our vet followed up with us twice since our visits: staff here really seem to care. The only drawback is that grooming is upstairs & the stairs are narrow & steep - tough for older, less agile animals but worth it anyway!

A great animal hospital. Always honest and up front about the issue. Also have always informed us when there would be additional charges. I've been taking my dog there for a few years now and would recommend their services to anyone. Yearly checkups (with vaccines) for my schnauzer run me around $90.
