This clinic is MUCH to pricey for thier services. WE had two young healthy female housecats spayed; with full shots. Quote was $150 each for spays (approx) but the office staff would not be pinned down due to what they call "Variables". Actualy cost ended up being $950 (I am not kidding) There was not ANY special care or circumstances. Staff/Vet INSISTED on keeping cats overnight (extra charges) for observation (yet no staff stays there overnight) One cat, normally docile, ended up severely scrathing the face one of the office staff who tried to pull her out of the cage when cat came out of anethstesia. (Cat was frightened) This prompted the Vet and Staff to refuse further treatment of our cats without strongly drugging them. Staff refused to finish additonal shots we paid for or remove stitches (which I had to do at home) I have a new vet now who the cats are FINE with. I chalk the incident up to INEXPERIENCED STAFF at La Conception clinic. Staff needs to take animal handling classes.
