With Dr. Costlow, it is plainly visible that our cat Kaytek has accepted him as a friend who is trying to help him. In his old age, Kaytek has a few health issues (thyroid, kidneys), so we are visiting the Readington Animal Hospital more often and recommend it to everyone who loves their pets. We are very grateful for Dr. Costlow's medical care. It is very important to us that the veterinarian visits don't add extra distress to our pet. We are trying to keep our Kaytek longer and believe that his terminal disease should not deny him a few good weeks or months of good quality life if his problems can be kept under satisfactory control. We are very grateful to Dr.Costlow. Dr. Costlow and associates - THANKS FOR THE PAST 21 YEARS! Helen Viechor

We have had Kaytek for 21 years. Now he is less energetic and sleeps a lot – but we’re treasuring his senior years. With those passing years, from kittenhood to his senior age, we have acquired a better understanding and better communication and have mastered our cat’s language. In my opinion, nothing makes a house more comfortable than owning a cat. Who owns who? That is the question.
Another question is whether a cat can choose a veterinarian for himself. Yes, he can. It seems that he enjoys traveling in the car to Readington Animal Hospital, sitting in my lap and browsing around. We suspect that that he knows where we are going. To prove that, we experimented by taking him for a “short sight- seeing” ride in our car. There was so much protesting meows , that we had to make this “car trip” even shorter. In the past, we took him a few times to the emergency animal hospital, and when that happened it was a stressful event; he felt nervous for a long time afterwards. With Dr. Costlow

Dr. Costlow...will cost you low in the beginning, but god forbid your animal has something seriously wrong, his only interest is milking you for money and not giving a proper diagnosis for the underlying problem. I had to do my own research to diagnose my dogs auto-immune disorder, which only required a week or two on prednisone...HE PUT MY DOG THROUGH UNNECESSARY SURGERY...and then when I brought my research to his attention, he was casually like, oh that's what the pathologist & I thought...Come on folks he went to Cornell Vet school...my dog went thru unnecessary pain, surgery and not to mention my worrying for his well being. He is the WORST VET I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!!!

Dr.Costlow and the entire staff of Readington Animal Hospital are SO compassionate, caring& friendly. They treat our pets as if they were their own! Norma, the office manager is great. They are like family to us. Our pets often board there, and they run in as if it were their second home. We have been going to Dr. Costlow with various pets for many years, so I know it takes time to develop this same kind of relationship. We have found that Dr. Costlow's calm, quiet, gentle and caring demeanor have relaxed the anxiety of our pets and ourselves over the years. Dr. Costlow went to Cornell University both undergraduate & vet school and is a member of Mensa. He is always asking questions, listening and explaining ways to improve our pets' health and our lives. Readington Animal Hospital is the BEST!
